I think it’s extremely healthy to have life’s outside of your relationship. It’s important to spend times away from each other have “girls or boys night” by obviously respecting your relationship because then that creates trust within the relationship. And to add on what Rey and Jose were mentioning, yes some people do go to clubs with the intention of hooking up by the end of the night but there’s the other people whose intentions are simply not that. I think it’s okay to have a girls night or boys night whatever it is to go out, drink, and dance with your best friends while maintaining respect and loyalty.

I think that there is a difference between going to go “chill” at the club than to go “chill” at the bar. The bar is more to go chill and chat with your girls/guys. The club… yeah that is more intentional. You don’t go to chill, you to go socialize and talk to guys and girls. The club, you go look for something (aka a girl or a guy to mess with for the night). However it all depends of the individuals and their boundaries. Everyone has them and sometimes you just have to respect them.

about the club question. I think if you were in the party scene before you started dating and want to continue that lifestyle, then you both go out together. Yes, you can have a guys night and I can have my girls night, but that should def be cut and limited. Personally though I'd want the party scene to be limited as a whole if I was in a relationship. If your partner only wants to hang out with their friends at the club, that's an issue. You can have a girls day/night doing anything. As a women I understand that I shouldn't move and want to be out in that scene by myself and vice versa. If it's more an issue of not trusting her/his friends rather than your partner out by themselves then it's tough because I truly believe you are who you surround yourself with.

For the first question, I agree with Gero. I’m currently 19 turning 20 in dec, as of this moment because of my age I wouldn’t be a stepmom, however the situation itself and taking it further into the future if I were put into that situation then yes I would and I wouldn’t mind being a “step mom”. I’ve grown up around family with many split and divorced relationships where I’ll see the step parent or new partner come into the family and thankfully no one has been as negative of any sort but they will of course care for and have love for their step child and try their best to be there. Gero having been in that same situation where he has a step father who on his part made sure to be that father figure in his life could have been important to him, as well speaking as someone who has step parents too. In my eyes, if i love someone or am happy with someone and they have a child, i personally wouldn’t mind because i can see from both pov’s and will try on my part to just be respectful, create a bond with them, care for them, and be there for them too! Of course this is just my opinion and a personal choice, i know others who also have step parents would have the opposite opinion but I thought id share mine and say how I can agree and relate to Gero on that part!
