I have used coffee concoction, but u can use any brown paint, or any acrylic color of your choice, just avoid using oil paints, as it will be difficult to weave them. I hope this helps. Thankyou for watching🙂 happy weaving!!
Yes,, its water resistant, as its coated with varnish.. n heat proof too,, but just for keeping the hot utensils,, not in direct fire.. ultimately it is paper only. I hope this helps
