The very first one..little sharper textures, no over saturation, little tone up on colors, no cheap skyboxes and no waxed cars. Perfect graphics mod imo
@TheRocky900 it means that the lighting is beign calculated in a more realistic way thus giving some natural global illumination and real reflections, and the gta v engine doesn't support RTX
I think the first mod of the video is the best I have ever seen on GTA 4. Not only it improves the graphics but also respect the artistic tone and the gritty vibe of the game. Great job !
Being more technologally advanced has nothing to do with gameplay, you jackasses, it has to do with what you can do to the game engine, a 2008 game doens't beat a 2013 one in any way, actually, GTA 4 is even more limited than GTA SA in what you can mod, and i mean that seriously.
Finally getting a gaming PC in two weeks and i just bought GTA IV on Steam so i can relive my favorite GTA ever right away and i’m glad to see there are mods that improve the graphics, def gonna try Excellent ENB Graphics
you should do tutorial videos on how to install these mods, I'd do it on my own but for a lot of people it's not easy and it would give your channel more exposure.
They are really easy to install, it's just copy and paste into your game's directory. If there's other things to do to completely install, the "Readme.txt" will tell you.
Excellent video Rob I've got CryENB currently installed after this showcase I'm keen to try out the iCEnhancer 3.0 you have shown! I love the way it adds a reflective look to Nico's jacket among many other things... Great video as always Rob!
yo my man, im debating on buying gta 4 on pc so I can mod it. But im not sure if it'll work on the complete edition on steam. Do you know if it does and you you have to downgrade the version to get it to work on CryENB V3? please and thank you
@@BOBINDUN The new version of the complete edition is almost non playable with mods. Either downgrade to 0.4 or 0.7. 0.4 Works best imo, and for many others.
ICE Natural is my favorite, it has great colors, good lighting and it runs very well. Simple ENB is good, but sometimes it looks very "cheap", and it's REALLY demanding and bad for FPS. But, that's good, i'm glad i have these 2 mods for GTA IV.
@DayL How customizable is ice 3.0? I really like the colors and such, but the lense flares from explosions and stuff I'm not a big fan of. Can you turn those off in settings somewhere?
Would have been nice to show them at nighttime too because most of those mods are made for best looking daytime but completely ruins nights atmosphere by removing all fog, make nights too bright, etc.
I wish these mods could come to console or the gta 4 series gets remastered with Rdr2’s graphics and gore style into one full game with nikos gta 4 radio stations, JNR and Tuff Gong. Being able to switch between Niko Luis, and Johnny. Would be the best game ever. Also first person implementation.
My Favourite Graphics mod is Gta 4 natural and realistic enb in where the graphics are upgraded to nearly gta 5 graphics. But the reason i like this graphics mod is it still keeps the original look of the game and does not have too much saturations
I like Simple ENB, but i think i prefer ICEnhancer Natural. It doesn't ruin the atmosphere by too much and doesn't use effects like SweetFX and other stuff that make the game 10x more demanding but only reduces jagged edges (for example).
- is it possible to replace all vehicle without any problem ??? ???? or atleast 10 cars ??? because i've replaced cars before and game crash every 10 min....( maybe i didnt install it correctly ! )
@@InternetRob Honestly, You should have more subscribers than this. You're pretty much the only youtuber that doesn't spend 2 hours on 3 mods. You get right to the point, and I love that.
I use a modified version of iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural, with the bloom from iCEnhancer 3.0 A.Vision, and the car reflections from CryENB on version 1.0.4.0! :D
It's so hard to navigate through the old map, can someone give me the new map or radar mod, and will it work for complete edition, if so then ok Any link or so
How does one get DOF to work correctly in ICEnhancer 3.0, even on game version 1.0.4.0. ? Asking a legit question as I'm playing it now and cannot get the DOF to work properly, with no help on current forums. Any insight would be helpful.
Hey Rob, Love the Video. A question, I would like to try out Simple ENB, Does it work with the Complete Edition or should the Game be downgraded for it to work ?
@@sivasubramanian2042 You can't play the game on Steam if you downgrade, unfortunately. :( But the ICEnhancer 3.0 Natural works on this version. That's beautiful too.
Best graphics mod for this game would be ice enhancer 3.0 natural in the day and simple emb at night ice enhancer looked perfect but the night looked way too dark for this game
Many games such as RDR2 has a specific console settings for PC according to Digital Foundry but no one bothered with posting GTA IV console settings on YT. Here are the console settings for GTA IV according to R* themselves ( gtaforums.com/topic/395450-xbox-360-and-ps3-settings/ ) Use these settings as your baseline while tweaking the graphics settings. Screen resolution = 1280x720 or above Texture quality = Medium (use High for most modern GPUs) Reflection quality = Medium Water quality = Medium Shadow quality = Medium (Medium looks terrible so choose High instead if using patch 6 or above) Night shadows/Shadow Density = OFF (this setting kills your fps during morning and evening) View distance = 21/100 Detail distance = 10/100 Vehicle density = 33/100 Render Quality = Low (if you are on an older version and if this option exists) Definition = (your choice. Keep it ON because turning it OFF adds motion blur and makes the screen blurry, which is hated by the pc gaming community) Try to keep the sliders as low as you can because these settings kill your fps.
