it actually doesnt matter on the wheel type (Offroads, Tuner, SUV, etc.), there are a variety of wheels all within different classes that offer the same effect. For example; Solar in High End, Wired in Lowrider, Dukes in Muscle, Raider in Offroad, Venum in Sport, Cosmo in SUVs and Tuners, and Kracka Custom in Street all offer Front Traction Bias shifting more of the cars weight to the front tires. It is true that Offroads offer the best curb and bump absorption for cars with Tires Can Clip. Other things to note is some tires change the slip angle, or how much you have to turn before the car looses traction, and anti-roll which provides more car stability with a slight loss in traction.
Damn I bet you thought you had a funny ass comment there🤣 it’s a given name by the gta community. Your simple ass know damn well gta don’t have a clutch pedal/input. You gotta be remedial if you actually serious about his comment
But there is no option to look left/right on keyboard in 1st person on PC like in sanandreas.........(without using mouse)........please let me know if you know a key binding.
@VamsCantSpam there is no clutch in gta moron. all cars are automatic. its a glitch in the game that people gave an unrelated name. real double clutching does nothing to speed your car up. educate yourself.
in gta5 theres no real way to double clutch and this is similar enough, so its called double clutching instead of having a whole new name for it (plus the name wouldve been something dumb like a "brake boost glitch")
@@shiftyeagle7512 no it’s not. Just tap the hand as you get to the top of the gear right before it shifts. You want it to bounce off the rev limiter, this has been known since xbox360. You can do this on any gear at any speed and it will help you maintain your speed if your maxed out and slow down because you dodged a car or something. You don’t want to let off the gas because as soon as you tap the handbrake it goes into neutral and bounces off the rev limiter that’s what you want.
I've used it but it's not my preferred driving method because I get a better idea of gaps between cars in third person. I drive alot easier in third person
Double clutch doesnt guaranteed work on all rwd cars. Many new vehicles have had the feature disabled by rockstar to stop spamming of it in online races, secondly certain cars even being rwd, simply cant double clutch. All the supers cant and even many of the sports class vehicles cant either
This is false. The majority of vehicles can “double clutch”, aka mid-drive speed boost. The only vehicles that can’t would be vehicles with the advanced handling flag that pertains to either the open wheel behavior or a specific flag from the cunning stunts DLC cars.
@shiftyeagle7512 nope, sorry to say but post the GTA Car Meet DLC handling for new cars was changed, many can no longer be stanced, and more have had double clutching disabled. Furthermore as stated previously a wide selection of the sports category and super category were locked early on to keep online races balanced. Specialty flags due stop some vehicles but it's important to denote double clutching while you can do the act with all cars, doesn't actually give a bonus to all cars, some will actually appear to stall as they bounce off the Rev limiter and keep the same speed or even slow as the vehicle remains stuck in whatever gear you tried this in. The new mustangs are some of the best examples of cars incapable of double clutching, specifically the SN-95 model, and the S2000 is another good example which isn't capable of double clutching, which WAS originally but was later removed in an update by rockstar because it could be equipped with drift tires from the car meet garage and create a racing glitch which would make it one of the fastest cars in the game. As such all car meet vehicles which could equip drift slicks had double clutching locked out to prevent this glitch, something that has persisted in all new update vehicles except for the very latest from the cluckin bell raid
do not believe anything @@biosaber585 says, they just come up with random and pretentious sounding nonsense to try and hide their colossal skill issue.
if you’re deep within the racing community then you’ll see that the car customization is alot more intricate and well thought out than u think, adding any sort of body mod like splitters or new bumpers for example add weight to either the front or back of the car depending on where you add the mod which is why most racers in the community have pretty equal customization so the weight doesn’t mess with their lap times
You can do it but having to slow down after the first boost to receive another is honestly slower in the long run. Just doing the one is the best way to go in my opinion
The clutch trick also works for AWD cars. You just also need to press the normal brake at the same time. (And btw this is not from 1st to 2nd, but from 2nd to 3rd gear)
There are so many things wrong with this video. 1. The different wheel types don't affect the traction of a car at all. There is no difference. 2. The wheels affecting the cars ability to go over bumps only applies to cars added before 2019. Anything that came after the Casino update, offroads won't help them with bumps 3. There is no such thing as "double clutching" on GTA. There is no clutch button in the game. What is shown in this video is a handbrake boost. Also, "5 Insane Driving Tips in GTA 5" I only counted 3.
Actually, it is true some different rims will provide benefits to the car. For example, Gruppe Z rims in the tuners wheels type offer front traction bias and increase slip angle, making the vehicle less likely to slide and putting more weight on the front tires to more precise turning. The change is small, but to experienced and serious racers, it can make a big difference in a long race.
the white wall tires lowrider wheels gives you make a huge difference. its why a lot of people started using them, yeah i look dorky but they really are more grippy then any other tire in the game. give it a try, join a race with a supercar and watch the grip setting change
@arielsaavedra5223 Heck unironically the Dolla rims on the Adder are very good, makes the car grip fairly well. Just add some side neons to keep it balanced and it drives very well.
its not a coincidence your phone is always listeningif its on. 'for your protectionand more personalized services' its momey and politics it always is @gcmer
Tires don’t affect traction, only the amount that bumps are absorbed. It’s proportional to tire wall thickness. Also, “double clutching” (it’s the mid-drive speed boost) is done before third, not second gear. It’s done as you reach the upper RPM’s of second gear. You can also “double clutch” with every car no matter the drivetrain, but with AWD and FWD cars you need to press the brake and E-brake together rather than just the e-brake.
AWD cars can also just double-clutch with the handbrake, it's just a little harder, don't try double-clutching with brake and handbrake as the chances of failing are way bigger, for the rest you are fully correct and this short is basicly all wrong or half info
I recently finished the game, why didn't I know about vehicle camera setting lol. It would've been so useful, I tried to keep camera at somewhat decent angle with mouse
Fyi the fact that bigger tires are better on some cars (example:deveste eight, x80 proto, tezeract and some others) is because those cars are affected by a handling flag that cause the tires to clip through the ground (I guess to imitate real tires behaviour) so that's why the bigger tires make these cars better
Correction, by default all cars can benefit from off road tires. The ones that don’t, which are a small minority, have a flag that disables tire clipping through the ground, nullifying the effect of different size tire walls. There isn’t a flag that makes it better on some cars, there’s a flag that disables it outright for a few.
Yeah let's rush them in making GTA6 early so then when surprise surprise it flops because of that u niggas bitch about it like u always do, nigga u just want to complain, let people do what tf they want and stop whining over the same shit
Brake boosting involves going over small bumps and tapping the brakes instead of the handbrake when the rear wheels are slightly airborne. This tricks the game into giving the boost from launching from burnouts.
For a double clutching that also works in sleep dogs it was in sleep dogs that double clutching technique it works mostly on motorbikes in the game it's really interesting
I like to double clutch in any car I drive. Literally start driving and the guy behind me is like "how the heck did he pass me, that car has terrible acceleration"
obviously it’s not a double clutch fr, but holding gas and the ebrake lets the RPMs move freely, and while traction is broken in the rear while going slow enough, it can cause like wheel spin for the car to accelerate really quickly
The wheels all have different Attributes, yes all of them, some are the same, but most of them do different things (0.2x TractionBiasFront, +2 SlipAngle, 3x TractionRear are just examples), and as for the camera a lot of people who race professionally in our server prefer their cam close to the car as it gives them better Accuracy and precision, if you join our server you can really take a deeper look on how everything effects your car.
