I found the Iwakura disciples first before I knew about the world quest for the Kageuchi. Suffice to say, I was shocked to find out that we had a hand in ending a prestigious clan of swordsmen. And they made it as a HIDDEN EXPLORATION OBJECTIVE!?
As a "completionist", I felt really bad that we had to fight them. Although it was self-defense, we could've been given the option to talk to them. Maybe also learn techniques from the Iwakura Art :')

Even if one may know a lot about the lore of genshin than the average player, there is still many more hidden away and only adds up every patch. As for the potential location of the Yun's Forge, it might be located somewhere close to the Chasm. I believe Inazuma is the only nation that is 100% unlocked while Liyue and Mondstat still have areas that are not yet released such as Dorman Port, the Dandelion Sea, Chenhu Vale and Qiaoyi village. I wanted to add the Mare Jivari but I'm not even sure if its part of Mondstat because it sounds more like a special area near Natlan.
I have this personal theory that the Yun Forge will come as a domain but I could be wrong 😅 Of all those areas, I'm most excited to see the Dandelion Sea. I have so many questions about it
the current trend is each nation has only 1 “extra” region (chasm, dragonspine, enkanomiya) so maybe the rest of the areas will be domains instead? or maybe hoyoverse might add more extra regions to nations
The tale of Iwakura and Teruyo tends to pull at my heartstrings, those two deserved better. Specially when Teruyo said that the actual reason she gave him a new name was to spare him from the Oni curse, and create his own destiny. I especulated that the Black Knight was corrupted by the Abyss, and turned to the Abyss Herald.
The Heralds and Lectors that we have seen in the story all seem to have been evangelists and executors of old Khaenri'ah as they all hold memories of the nation. The Bloodstained Knight did probably end up joining the Abyss, but he most likely retains a large resemblance to his original form. He might end up being a boss fight later on.
@@DragonMJE I would like to say not all Lectors or Heralds are related with Khaenri'ah, most of them are created through abyss corruption, that's why that Elector Lector during the Archon Quest wasn't affected by the cleansing golden ritual.
These videos are such a delight. Genshin has so much story and lore hidden in books, items, artifacts, weapons etc. As someone without much free time, I end up missing out on a lot of depth that Hoyoverse puts into the game. So thanks for putting in the effort and making it easy to watch and understand. PS: I love the small details like showing the source of the lore (e.g., which specific artifact or item) for every small section of the story without breaking the narrative too much, it's nice.
I believe Roland is the White Knight and in my opinion, the story of Rostam and Rosalyn is a lot bigger than what most people think and it is a story that's close to my heart. However to fully appreciate the whole picture, you need to gather the pieces from the following: - Defender's Will (especially the feather and timepiece) - Elegy for the End - Favonius Greatsword - Brave Heart set - Vol 1 Breeze Amidst the Forest - The lore behind Dvalin and Durin's encounter - The quest history behind Dvalin's Tears (specifically their locations, tie it back to Vol 1 Breeze Amidst the Forest and you'll get a big hint as to the real reason why Dvalin was mistreated, as well as where Durin appeared and the path of destruction that Durin took during his rampage) - The lore behind Cape Oath and the valley of Dadaupa Gorge (specifically the Sword Cemetery, and the wonderful chest that we unlocked in the early stages of the game - the weapon prototype that you received from said chest should give you a very important dot to connect in this grand story, read Breeze Amidst the Forest again and you'll start to see a pattern emerging) - and lastly, after reading Rosalyn's lore, pay a visit to the Eclipse tribe and observe the place, and you'll realize whose home that is and the reason Rostam encountered Durin, and what he fought fiercely to protect when Rosalyn was away in Sumeru. "At least Arundolyn and Roland are alright. When she returns, this calamity should have blown over." What sad dying words, lone wolf indeed. Hope that helps, cheers.
After learning the lore behind weapons and artifacts, I look back on the names of those items and just go, "That makes so much sense". Emblem of Severed Fate, Crimson Witch of Flames, Bloodstained Chivalry, the Prototype series and Blackcliff series, etc. Genshin's lore is just beautiful.
Oh yeah I think I read that one. Chuang said that she acquired a book that cut her life by half iirc. It will be a sad day for Lisa mains when that comes :'(

I found about the oni clan and swordstyle because of Ashikai and decide, I would never get that achievement, sadly... I was already three of them down. I found the others so I just passed them running.

If you already have the 'Iwakura Out' achievement or if you remember fighting two kairagi at Byakko Plain ang getting a luxurious chest, then you already killed them.
