Anytime I pull an all nighter when I'm writing a paper for school, I always watch their videos. They keep me laughing even at 3 in the morning! Love you Rhett and Link!
Technically the one idea about someone who curates all your data, does exist now, only it’s nobody’s actual job but rather a built-in AI thing that keeps getting tiny updates every couple years.
***** Actually people have figured out the basics of coding in binary through our genes already, whats missing is how we use is for more then just storage. Don't believe me? Search it, if I remember correctly it was discovered by a research team at Harvard.
My school doesn't get funded by anyone, because the people that decide where the money goes believe that our school is lowering their property value, so in protest they use all their money on other things.
I just see one guy 'enjoying' the doggie music, and the other one disbelieving it. "So, you really like this?" "Yea man, I can totally hear the music, but you can't, you (something or other)." *pause* "The music's paused."
People should archive 3D print blueprints of present day items (Remotes, Phones, Knives) so in the future we can print this stuff out and be futureistic hipsters
I love at like around 8:10 when Rhett's all "I can hear them with my left ear," and without missing a beat, just like a parent, Link's all "No you can't."
I totally agree. Instead of people being "funny" by screaming or being annoying, or by making sexual jokes, Rhett and Link teach me something (although it's not always useful info), and it's genuinely FUNNY. They're my favorite (:
Someday i can see future creations such as Meals in a vape pen 3d Printable clothing Printable meals Smellavision Dog/cat translation app Human scent tracker (electronic) vs hound dog Dream recorder/replayer
I just imagine one day I'm going to watch one of these and it'll be like "Well… I'm sorry to say that this is now Rhett." or "… now Link." and just drop the deceased member of the duo.
Rhett and Link on your wheel of mythicality you should have one where you guys switch seats for good mythical more because you always seem to sit on the same sides.
My brother made his from scratch. Although he has had a lot of hiccups and issues with his 3d printer. But It works now and he hasn't had problems in a long time.
Synapsis wtf are you talking about. any smart phone is touch screen and any smart phone is normally compatible with an external device to control your television with.
Synapsis What in the hell are you saying... You were not currently talking when i commented. In no way did I interrupt you. I believe if you start calling yourself a "grown up" then you still have not matured enough to realize you don't have to be an ignorant jackass towards people only contributing to the conversation. Yes you might be able to use some phones directly with newer televisions, but my point was that you can, IN FACT, buy adapters for your tv and also control them through bluetooth or what have you. Quit fooling yourself, you aren't "grown" just because you've passed puberty.
There's an episode from a TV mini series called Black Mirror written by Charlie Brooker-"Be right back", that uses the idea of bringing someone "back", after they have passed away, using fragments from their online life/personas. It is unsettling/disturbing but also so worth a watch. The series provides a dark look at life and technology through well written and thought out, stand alone, episodes highlighting, as in the above episode, our ever increasing online lives and "social" interactions.
i think a more relevant list would be 10 jobs that wont exist in 10 years . like drug dealer (because people will be able to learn just enough chemistry online to synthesize any narcotic chemical) or stock broker since people will just use apps on there phones to handle there investments and be set to sell before it drops lower than when you bought some commodity futures or tech stocks ect
Eric Lin the lack of large factories to make the medicine/synthetic oil or what ever and zero large scale distribution would destroy a few industries and no one makes money off it potentially . like the example of the drug dealer vs the drug addict would the addict need the dealer if he could make it himself? people would just become smart enough on average to do it themselves . the average iq internationally increases over time things become common knowledge ect . a C student in america today would have been a A student 30 years ago . all you need is the chemical formula and chem 2 knowledge and theres a lot you could make because base materials are common . maybe people wont need to go to college to know these things
lol. I thought that, first time i watch you guys, really funny though. Enjoyed the video. Commented to see if I'd get a reply lol and now i got one I am embarrased :D
There's a movie with Robin Williams that basically goes with the "future archiving job," I forget the name, but it's a pretty good flick. In the future, EVERYTHING you do is recorded, and when you die, the "archiver" goes through millions of hours of your footage, and makes a montage for your funeral.
My cousin designed a guitar and posted a picture of it on twitter, Prince responded to her and loved the guitar and bought it. It was for a Purple Rain concert. I thought this was really cool considering it's my cousin.
Um... Just to let you know these shows are not scripted... I know you are just that kid that hates everything, I can bet that you have nothing good to say about ANYTHING!!! And I think your profile picture is fake...
