Excellent sightings! I just returned from Mala Mala but I can see Timbavati offers a lot Sorry I do not read Italian. Do you have any idea which part of the Timbavati you can traverse at Umlani camp?
First thanks a lot for watching our video. Hope you enjoyed it and you will subscribe for more contents. I can tell you that Umlani has access to approximately 800 hectares of the Timbavati. They owned an amazing tree house just a couple of km from the lodge. We have had lot of sightings, maybe the best we had among Manyeleti, Sabi sand, Balule and Klaserie. If you need more info I will be more than happy to help you
@@mpf_onthetrail Indeed wonderful content. I was very impressed with quality of sightings! 800 or 8000 hectares? 800 seems a small area? The traverse at Pungwe was much bigger. Could I get your honest opinion about the game viewing at Pungwe too? If we travel as a couple is there a chance children would be allowed on the game vehicle? Thank you again for the wonderful content
sorry 8000 hectares out of 53000 of the entire reserve. As for children, it depends a lot on how the lodges organize the jeeps. We also travel as a couple and if we can, we book the "private jeep". Manyeleti has a special place in our hearts and especially the Pungwe Family. Manyeleti is a 23,000 hectare reserve with few lodges, so there is no traffic and there are few jeeps on sights. It is a reserve that we find more natural and "rustic". We love it so much, that in december we will visit it again🫶🇿🇦
