Pro Tip: please don’t use painters tape if you want this to last long term! Most tape has an acid component that will eventually eat at paper so try to find an adhesive that states “acid free” on the packaging. Just trying to help everyone keep there amazing artwork for years to come 💗

Love your creativity, especially your 1st project with the tapestry. ❤️ Being a painter, the only things I would change when making a frame (aka stretcher bars) for mounting something this large, would be the use of 2x3”s for greater stability and avoid bowing, and seal the wood so it won’t leak tannin stains onto the wall and into the fabric.

Love the idea of the tapestries. We recently moved from our house that had 14-foot ceilings and I used tapestries in a couple of areas of the house but I spent a lot of money on them so this is a great idea for those who want this look without spending a fortune! LOVE the wall tapestry art! That IS my idea of Xmas decor...Just got some fabric with soft colored pine tree print on it for a throw for my couch and throw pillow covers for my room. A Xmas tree in each...I'm done! That tapestry'd make a great top for a comforter: Id just use one of my blankets for the back.

This was the exact video I didn't know I was looking for! There is some great inspiration and resources in here! Easy one looks fabulous and is a way to make something really substantial on a budget while showcasing your creative individuality. I love them all, but the little trio is my favorite. One question though...would these hold up better over the long run with a sealer of some kind?

My daughter no longer uses the tapestry she had hanged in her university dorm. The colour is perfect for the huge wall in my front entrance. I’m going to use your idea and frame it. Framing it will give it a different look. Thanks for that inexpensive idea!!!!
