Love Laura Geller make up. Have been using it for 15 years, ever since I bought my first set on QVC. The balance and brighten is lovely and easy and just gives a nice even complexion. The baked blushers are also beautiful.

I use both baked foundations and love them both for different looks. I also adore the hydrating primer for under my eyes before concealer. It tends to minimize the crepey look that so many concealers produce. I have a few other LG products that are really good too. Great review.

Of the foundations, I’ve only tried the Baked Balance -N- Brighten, which I love! But, today I tried the Better Than Bare Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 50+ and I was amazed at how easy it was to apply with just my fingers, without streaking and how lovely it felt and how beautifully it blended! Because of it, I ditched all the BB and CC creams I had but never used.

I am 70 and have dry skin but love the LG Balance and Brighten foundation. I have both the original and the glow. If I apply my foundation and think it looks too matte I swirl some of the glow on the top. I also like the bronzer and the blushes.

Hello gorgeous Lisa, I’ve been living in bakedblush/bronzer/powders & impressed truly by the longevity & flexibility of these products. I love HG (I think they’re baked 🧐??) but it’s the only baked brand I’ve tried. Incorporating a very light foundation would be great. The second LG one you described sounds perfect for me, I will check out, thank you 💕🌟💕🌟!!!

I love the Laura Geller Baked Balance -n- Brighten in Fair. I have used Bare minerals original foundation powder with SPF 15 for a decade. When I used this product for the first time last week, it was hands down a success! I put my Bare Minerals away and am delighted with the results! Evens out my skin tone, it’s light and does not sink into my fine lines and wrinkles and it’s buildable and natural looking. I also love the Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer. I want to purchase the under eye primer now. I’m 68, take great care of my skin and love using makeup for a natural pulled together look. Plus it’s fun!

I’m a regular user of LG Baked Foundations and Bronzers. I prefer the Balance & Glow and you’re right about the shades. I have to go up from Golden Medium to Deep in the Glow. I also love her Blushers and Highlighters. Laura herself is the best promoter of her line - she’s smart and likable.

Lisa is completely right about the feel of the cream foundation (white compact). I apply with the sponge and it's got great coverage that doesn't feel heavy at all. I ordered through their Instagram link and sent my barefaced photo and they selected a perfect color for me. As Lisa points out, I have pretty even toned skin to start, so I don't need to try and cover much. It's so good. I wear a mask a lot, and it doesn't rub off during my commute and lasts all day and feels fantastic. At 60 I'm excited to use make up again!

Good morning Melissa. Thank you for explaining the differences between her foundations. I for one, hate spending a lot of money on a product only to find out it is the wrong one for me. I think it is becoming more common for brands to make numerous types of each item, which definitely makes choosing the correct one more challenging! What great timing. I just today received a kit from Laura Gellar that she was selling on Instagram and I was REALLY skeptical. I got the baked glow foundation and I was absolutely stunned how well it looked on my almost 52 yr old menopausal slightly dry skin. I was afraid it would make me look dead 😂 but it didn’t look dry at all ! Didn’t settle into lines wasn’t cakes I was SUPER impressed and I think it’s my new favorite foundation

I am 59. Sensitve, acne prone skin. I ordered the color light and it looked orange. I have the color fair now and it is perfect. I wouldn't say it felt creamy but also didn't settle into lines. I just use a firm flat face brush. I am going to get some other laura geller products too. I just put on moisturizer, sweep on balance and brighten, some blush, mascara and I am out the door!

What are you wearing while doing the exit talk? That foundation looks lovely. I do plan to order her non-glowing highlighter, it is the first the has picky interest. Thank you for this video. I have pore issues and mature skin, but find that nice powder foundations that don’t look powdery, like the Bobbi Brown, are our friends. I do want to try the baked foundation in original.

I find they don’t move into my lines at all. The powders because as powders don’t really move and collect anywhere, but even the cream foundation which is my favorite formulation is so lightweight on the skin that it doesn’t shift either.

My favorite Laura Geller product to this day is her balance and Brighton blushes my favorite colors are pink buttercream which is a discontinued color. I started using her products when I was about 29 years old I am now 38 and I’m debating if I should try her powdered foundation again I’ve been wearing a liquid foundation since it covers hyper pigmentation from pregnancy better would you recommend this product for me? I’ve always had a hard time matching my skin color to her foundations. Any help would be amazing I have combination very sensitive skin!

It depends on how much hyperpigmentation. You may still need a concealer to even out. And I have heard of fairest shades lean a little orange, so if you already have hard time matching foundation shades, I’m not sure if you’ll do better with this one!

Hi Lisa, you have the same complexion and coloring as me and I wanted to know which shade you chose for the LG tinted moisturizer. I have combination skin (no dry areas). Also, which would you say is better, the tinted moisturizer or the baked foundation? I'm going to Europe next summer/fall and wanted to take advantage of the LG sale. I prefer the baked foundation as I use my own sunscreen underneath and don't like the layering sunscreen products, it can look shiny on me. I am in Sand for all of them. Not sure on the expiration dates, I usually don't pay attention unless they discolor, separate or change consistency, then I will just toss! I'm heading to FL for few months and only have the baked on me and it's not on compact. Typically powders don't expire because bacteria can't grow on them like on liquid/cream products.

Just sure how I stumbled across your videos. I'm not a makeup person - at all! But for some reason, I watched. I wish other people with youtube channels would take some lessons from you. First of all, you use your voice well - unlike so many others. (Why would someone willingly submit themselves to watching a video given by someone with vocal fry - ugh?!) And you don't ramble on endlessly, saying the same unimportant thing over and over - again, like so many others. The information you give is useful. And your camera work is excellent as well.

After all the hype I finally bought the Laura Geller primer, the Balance and Brighten and the Baked Foundation, as well as eyeshadow. I don't like any of them :( which is a shame because I REALLY wanted to like it. Going to return. I'm having a hard time finding my Holy Grail foundation :( The search goes on....

@@LisaMonique I am returning :) I just got in the foundation from Pat McGrath...awfully thin and no coverage,,,not too thrilled with it either. I want something that looks like skin but covers well, doesn't settle into my fine lines and wrinkles, doesn't oxidize, and lasts 12+ hours. Not too much to ask right lol. I used to have great success with Lancome Teint Idol but it is now oxidizing terribly. I am also trying out the Georgio Armani...it's doing ok, not great. Settles into the lines. The search goes on......

Ok, up until 6:56 I can still see the brown discoloration on your cheeks under the makeup so that's what I would want to hide. Hoping the Double something does it because I watched Laura demo it and it didn't look good on her.

I don't think any "light" coverage will really cover discoloration, or specific dark spots. You should try and minimize w/full coverage concealer and then apply foundation to even tone

I guess it just depends on what you were hoping it would do. If your foundation settles in your lines and ages you, this is a good alternative as it doesn’t move but provides light coverage and evens skin tones, but no, it doesn’t have special anti-aging capabilities 😉

@@LisaMonique actually my previous foundations did exactly what you said, hence why I purchased this one. And it did the exact same thing, I noticed no difference. And no, I didn’t expect it to have “special anti-aging capabilities” but the ad is misleading as most are.

@@brendalins1237 that's too bad, the powder foundations usually don't "slip" because they are a powder. But I'm not sure which formula you purchased. But she also has a great return policy if you're not happy with it.
