I've been playing music for fifty years but I gotta admit that this video brought a smile to my face and enjoyed the way you broke it down to different levels. Happy holidays youg lady and keep that lovely smile going and the joy of music.
As a guitareo member I love these level up breakdowns. No one else does them and I found it frustrating at times to try and find such a phased progression of different levels. I hope you guys do more of these on songs from the Beatles, Stones and other classics. Really enjoying them
I just bought my 5yo son his first guitar for Christmas. I'm so glad I've found your channel. Definitely gonna help me teach him. He has been interested for a while now and loves playing on my guitars. What better way to bond with your son.🥰
I never realized how much JAZZ INFLUENCED,THIS SONG HAD.IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY FAVORITE SINCE I WAS A KID. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL VOICE AND LESSON."MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND ALL OF YOUR FAMILY"!
This was right on time. I was working on that song from ear and then I found this video... even if it is a year later for you! Thanks so much for breaking it down like you did! Have a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Years!! Love your teaching skills and your happy disposition!! Peace and long life!

Thank you so much for “demystifying” this iconic Christmas rocker that was previously beyond my ear and my ability. Your video will be a great reference as I work my way through Levels 3, 4, and hopefully 5. It looks like a lot of fun to play those great double stops, and I’m hoping this newfound knowledge will spill over to make me a more versatile player. Thank you again
Ayla - you hit it out of the park, the breakdown including the Level5 adds is special. Great Christmas gift to your fans and the fans of this Holiday classic.. Thank You & Happy Holidays!
My pipedream is to be able to play accoustic like the backup player in the song ElPaso by Marty Robbins. Not sure if thats something youd be interested in. I think its so good,,,it tells the story even without the singing.
Merci beaucoup Ayla, super idée d'inclure 5 niveaux au même tutoriel ! Il me reste 4 jours pour répéter avant Noël... Joyeuses fêtes de fin d'année 🌲 🎅
👉🎅🫵love these simple songs easy to play (even if poorly) and so much to learn from them. No worries over them their just fun❗️I’m just a novice but love playing my guitar thank you👍
Thanks Ms. Tesla....jus playin with ya. Thanks for the run thru on this song since it's Christmas. I've been looking at this for several weeks but could not find the right blend similiar to the original. I'm a tab reader so it really helps me out for the Holidays! Also, you have a happy holiday!!
Another awesome job on this song! Really love this learning format .... how about 5 Levels of “Can’t You See” by Marshall Tucker? Oh ...and, Girl, YOU ROCK! ... thanks again!
Awesome! This has always been my favorite electric guitar Christmas song. As far as requests go, another Christmas song I’ve always wanted to see is the guitar solo in The Christmas Song (Chestnuts on an Open Fire)…
The chords for the bridge (or the middle 8 as the Beatles would say) according to my ear (your mileage may vary): from D7 go to G major, G# dim7, D, D, E7, E7, A7 (stop, then walk down scale)
3+4=7……but, I am old, must be modern math….lol All kidding aside, I love level 5. I think I am going to learn it. Your quirky-ness cracks me up every time. I think you are great!
Thank you Ayla! Could you maybe expand this to include licks from the Hall and Oates version? Also could you break down the Eagles tune “Please Come Home For Christmas” ? I really like how you teach the chords/melodies for songs. Thank you. Merry Christmas!
This is the best guitar lesson format for songs. It makes every other teaching method (which is basically just "here's how you play it...good luck!") seem stupid and lazy by comparison.
Great video. Very thorough! Plus, you seem so happy and positive playing and teaching...it's awesome! Subscribed and looking forward to checking out more of your videos! Happy Holidays 2022!
