This message just hit the nail on the head! I believe the Holy Spirit nudged me to stop everything and just listen to this. My anxious self always has such a tenacious hold on every little aspect.. This message really ministered to me. Especially now at this time of my life while facing and fighting the fears of breast cancer and the damaging effects of chemotherapy. Every day, I have to submit those fears and worries of death and pain. I want God's joy, peace, and strength while I wait on Him..... Thank you for this wonderful message. I needed it, again❤😊
Thank you for sharing from your heart sweet friend! So many of us can relate to the 5 things that you spoke about. One thing that I’ve learned this past year is that God is faithful to answer the prayers of His praying children! He healed my broken back (ouch!) & broken heart (over a family situation)! As believers, we MUST practice giving it to God & not constantly taking it back as another rock in our wagon! Love you & hope you have a wonderful Christmas!❤️

You have given me something to ponder here but I am definitely adding working on "obedience over outcome" with my 2024 action of an "unstoppable determination" this year.
I have enjoyed your videos. They have a lot of wisdom. God has asked me to let go of a season in my life, so that I can go forward in the season I am in. It was not easy to let go, because I thought that being a mom is all that I was.
Oh, Joanna!! So Hard to choose! God called us into something beautiful and so so hard this year (foster care) and all of these lessons resonate in some way! Lesson 1 is a way we are alike! ❤ I struggle with this area but with this new journey, remembering that obedience is a win, and maybe not worrying about the outcomes (giving the outcome to HIM since it’s all HIM anyway!) is something I need to strive to hold onto more and more. Lesson 2, ugh, progress is a WIN! That is so hard! (James 4:10) Lesson 3, wow!! I have to keep patience and stop living in the “pre freak” zone where I can easily slip when I’m in a situation and season of such unpredictability and so many unknowns! (1 Peter 5:7, James 5:8)) Lesson 4, this one brings tears to my eyes, but continuing to learn to hold things loosely, 🤲 they are the Lords anyway, can be such a challenge! This season is giving me so much practice and learn in this area and I am thankful for that! (James 1:2, John 16:33). And Lesson 5, Oh how I’m praying for the Lord to change this heart! To continue to root out the selfish and ego and fill me with His love and His spirit. (Ez 36:26-28). So, as you can see, they all hit deep today! THANK YOU Joanna!!! Always teaching me something new and a ways to grow deeper in the Lord!! ❤ 🙏🏽
