Up until 4 years ago i refused to wear jeans - i was such a corporate dresser - business suits only ! An amazing sales lady helped me make the transition - now at age 68 I own almost 15 pairs in every style , look , bling , slims - stretch , white, black , indigo, wide leg, flare , skinny ………but no distressed yet. i style them in all the ways you featured but my favorite - the white crisp button down shirt ,blazer, belt , structured bag and high heels. I always prioritize what I personally like and what I feel comfortable to wear. I like only tapered jeans. I don't like the sweep-the-floors nowadays trend. And no high-waist for me, absolutely hate it and I don't care if it's trendy or not. I never follow the trends blindly. White loose t-shirt?! Hell, no! Thanks! I don't like loose t-shirts at all. And I don't like white t-shirts. You may think it looks good, I think it's awful. Absolutely love a blazer with jeans. In my opinion a blazer with jeans looks elegant.
