OOOOOPPPPPPsss. The number of incidents where I had unwittingly wounded narcissists of my past. I may have been "made" to feel / think 'guilty' back then (at that time). Do I feel / think "guilty" now? Hell, no!🤣. I get satisfaction when I know I can 'choose' to give a narcissist acknowledgement (negative, positive), or none at all when I go to public places. Though my close narc relative is very much alive, I've already decided not to attend her funeral/burial when she sheds this mortal coil. I will be hugely relieved when she's gone and the world will be a better place. Of course, she won't care because she'll be dead. But my family will come down on me like a ton of bricks for choosing non-attendance. Most of them are in her coterie and don't know the years of toxic abuse she's viciously heaped on me. Attending would be hypocrisy and I don't give a damn about the criticism. Those people have been her worshipful entourage for decades and I'll relish wounding them.

Bottom line is .....mere ignoring the narc . in any form whatsoever ...is a huge wounding . no wander we get backlash not knowing where it is coming from.

What if you publicly expose the narcissist and destroy their false image? For example ruin their reputation at work? In other words: Humiliation

Prime example is Amber Heard when JD was late for her bday party because of a business meeting. She was pissed.

I imagine these sorts of behaviors would be terribly wounding to non-narcissists as well. Makes me see them as quite human.

My, oh my, HG! I LOVE your way of educating us! It is deliciously served with witt and humour..... and an underlying sense of somber urgence. I get your points. Even though my emotional thinking ,without exceptions, are trying to hijack my senses my collection of HG golden nuggets is getting very large and shiny. And solid! You are my man, HG! The only narcissist/psychopath ! I ever want to have conversation to. And never in person... you see I feel your charm so intensely.

narc ex hates his birthday and says he doesn't have a reason to celebrate. Also doesn't celebrate anyone else's.

This is why I don't attract Narcissists. 10:23 Along with all my other flaws, personality type, and my personality disorder, I'm very unreliable and don't like "get togethers" 10:23 . Many times, I'll say, "yeah, I'll be there" only to have: social anxiety or I'll procrastination, or bad planning leaving too much to do to attend; cause me not to be there. 10:23 I'm usually relieved that I missed whatever it was (Especially if it's in person. Online stuff isn't so bad.).

What if IPSS forgets nacissist's birthday?
