ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT FOOTAGE!!! Loved that mud section, AND your heavy breathing, I felt nearly exhausted w/ you, LOL. Great intro from the news breaks - and then - the flood splashing cars on the wheel. This was the shortest and most cinematic full length feature of the week! Wow thank you for the effort to take the wheel out in that weather it was bad. That mud makes for a good workout and the tyre clearance looks solid. Tyre also clears really well if I compare that to the Sherman. Thank you again.

The wheel handled it well but more importantly I’m glad to see you guys are safe after riding in those conditions! For those who don’t know the opening news clips were from earlier this week in the UK and the storm did some serious damage. Keep safe, looking forward to the next one- hopefully in drier weather.

Wow, respect for riding the shiny new S20 pedal-deep in the mud first and into the hard rain second. That's some serious testing, nice to see that S20 survived that. Anyway, knowing the typical issues of EUCs, it's recommended to disassemble it and look inside for the aftermath of all that, especially inside the motor - the lids usually aren't waterproof at all.

This is good news! Will you check in a few days after or in a month to give a breakdown of any after effects. Also, I do a lot of night riding, and I appreciated the old standard of side lights. Any ideas on extra illumination for night riding? Is there anything out there that you give a stamp, too?

Thank you for taking one for the EUC community. What about cleaning the wheel afterwards? Jack showed it surviving a hosing down. It would be great is a low-pressure spray could safely be used to clean it without risk of damaging the wheel.

Man , You give these wheels a Real workout. I am surprised these companies give them to you ,Because I want to know ,they have been through(4 real) speedy feet test. Water resistant is very important. On my 16s ,i can't really take it out in the rain. The v12 is coming (I like your truthfulness and trust what you find out.......

Not really a conclusive result as water damage isn't instant but occurs over time. The test would be better if you opened the wheel and checked for any moisture or dust/mud around the motherboard compartment. I am interested in the waterproofing of this wheel because in Canada we have lots of road salt in the winter.

Porthleven where the sea was breaking at the beginning of the video is a couple of miles from me. It always catches it in bad weather. I ride my EUC there quite often. Was I out in it, are you kidding, not a chance :-) , weather a bit better today, was I out in it, not a chance. Bit of theme going here I think :-)

I would imagine there will be a bit of removing shoulder bolts, cleaning and greasing pivot points. From what ive seen its metal on metal with out any bushings

@@Speedyfeetuk nice! it seems like the design of the mudguard also avoids gathering loads of grit, mud and snow inside compared to many wheel well. Better than my Sherman shedding dirt as slush is still melting from a ride hours ago !

Just sold my s18 with 1500 miles, looking to upgrade, to something like the s20 Pro, ,, is there a unicycle out there that matches the s20 that has easily removable batteries thus allowing me to travel on a plane with it , and post the batteries onwards

Great, but mud guards are too close to the tire, easily get packed with mud. Also, it should be covered by much more smooth panels (inside), right now it will be terrible to clean it. Great video. I have V11.

@@Speedyfeetuk it was quite wet. On my V11 I end up in quite sticky mud... It took me forever to clean it. Also, placement of power sockets UNDER, it the worst possible thing they could do.

Hmmm…it would ride fine, but big risk with any wheel - sand getting and through everything including bearings + salt water. I would give it a miss!

interresting and necessary test. The main question is - how looks condition of bearings, after wet riding ? Especially after longer time. s20 has hollow motor, know for multiple isseues with bearings.

Apparently, Kingsong is using a custom bearing seal. I haven't seen any videos on what's in there, so this is of great interest to me! It only took a month for my v11 bearings to start grinding again after replacing with a brand new latest hub motor as of Dec 2021.

Find it hard to believe that no water got up into that power switch hole and motor wiring cover entry point. Looks like even if they don't end up sealing those areas on the production model it will take very little effort to make that control board housing water tight. Will just have to verify that the charge ports and tail light are sealed as well and youll have a wheel that has fully sealed electronics because i think the housing halfs have a seal. If the motor and bearings can hold up this wheel is going to hard to beat and end up being far better than anything else out there as an all around wheel. 👍

@@Speedyfeetuk, these are Gotway before transition into Begode. I feel like this was the point when wheels changed drastically. I owned MSX 84V, now using Monster V3, can't really say bad word on either, but hearing from my friends and other riders who own Begode... that's whole different story. Thus I wondered if anybody would try riding Begode in such harsh conditions.

Yeah I would for a test only, in terms of real world use, I would never choose to ride in this type of weather, its asking for trouble. We have been caught out on the RS and EX before with no issues.

I think we're being lied about range by some of the RU-vid content creators to sell Wheels. People in the UK saying this thing only gets 30 Mi range, but others are saying you can get 60 miles out of it. Who's lying here?

Possibly neither, not black and white - calling someone out as a liar seems a bit harsh, especially without all the facts. Depends on their speed, weight, temperature, tire pressure, elevation gain and loss. etc. As for my results, they are what they are in real life. Unless the Kingsong S20 milage readout is wrong coupled with the iphone 13 Pro GPS being faulty - which both report near as can the same figure - but thats really a daft suggestion that they would be faulty so can discount that, and probably like Sherlock says “When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.”

I've ridden in 30mph wind speed and I don't think it's extreme though. It's light weather. OnLy extreme weather I can think abt is -30C or 46 mph wind speeds. What's wrong with our kid? We landed D day with thousands of machine guns and we call it victory and now the pond the kids call it extreme?

Extreme = the point of reference given at the beginning, weather so bad two major motorways were completely closed for the first time in their history. Weathers come in all types of extremes, in this instance record breaking wind and rain. Cold would be a good test if only it got that cold here, and also extreme heat. In comparison to fighting in a war, no, you’re right, its not that type of extreme…but it was never compared to that nor was it ever meant to be.
