Thank you for the video. Finally someone who teaches to clean safely and dont overdo this part. Especially when talking to end consumer. Seeing most with all those cheap degreasers, lots of foam and tons of water in the engine bay is a pain in the ass for every mechanic.

Can I just use a little dish soap and water mix? I have both Dawn or lemon Joy to use. I need to take my 2011 Mazda to a repair shop soon and would like to clean under hood a bit for reason's you stated. Also is paper towels okay to use? I don't even have a hose to use but have spray bottles. I really don't want to have to rinse but just wipe stuff down for now 15 minutes tops.

what's nice is after you clean it with a degreaser once, I've, found that a simple rinsless wash spray will keep it clean for easy maintenance

But one day, far into the future there will be an Altima class on the lawn at Pebble...
