Its no BS. I started watching Unmesh during covid to force myself to learn photoshop. Took maybe 3 months. Within a year later I was pretty well known in my city as a photographer, based on my editing skills I learned here. Ive since then had my work featured on magazine covers, a prestigious art gallery in Florida, had a billboard in times square, even dated one of my models who hired me. and yes, I can do a pro touch up in 5 minutes or less. If you doubt Unmesh, photoshops not for you.
This is a great idea! A teaching tool. One can watch you work all day long but like gesture drawing- at some point you have to take pencil to paper if you are going to get better. So, I recommend you do more of these. Start with show the challenge and tell us what the test is e.g. retouch the face, apply text to a wrinkled shirt, fix a color cast, change the color of a garment, etc.- you got the idea. Tell us to pause the video and come back in 5 or 10 minutes and you will show how you approach the challenge. Thus creating a play list of tests or challenges that advance our problem solving skills. Great Job.
Lots of respect for you and your work, please make some videos about other photo editors you think can be as good as Adobe or better, specially now that millions are looking for alternatives ❤
I have a suggestion for a future video. Many of us have old photos with those outdated sunglasses that were once trendy but now look a bit cheesy. I'm struggling to replace these sunglasses in photos with classic always in style sunglasses like Ray-Ban Clubmaster or Wayfarer. Could you make a tutorial on this?
Hello unmesh I have started watching your 12 episode photoshop tutorial. Everything is great in your tutorial but I think you should make the tutorial a little slow paced. The pacing of your tutorial is very fast paced. It is my feedback to you after watching the tutorial. I have finished the 1st episode now continuing to the 2nd episode but pacing is an issue for me. I hope you will take the pacing of the video into account while making more tutorials in future.
when will be the retouching Challenge with just programmation using imagemagick and command line tools, without using very advanced Softwares such as Photoshop, Affinity ....
Hi You always use good pictures for retouch and do retouch why you dont use bad pictures full of blemish or shadow and hot spot and bad skin color sanhoted
