Really effective Claire and the paper looks very pretty. Surly there must be company's in the uk that sell kits, paper, ephemera, stickers etc as nice as the ones you've just used without having to buy from abroad. I checked out coco vanilla studios and they have some gorgeous things. Is there anywhere like them over here. Thanks
This is the first real time voiceover video I have seen from you, no wonder you think you are moving slowly, lol. I have to say it is still a great quick craft. After watching you thru 3 series now, I have adopted a few of your tricks: layering a variety of papers behind small photos to accentuate or repeat colors; working with collections; using stickers, esp word stickers and collection stickers; making decisions quickly and moving on. My clusters are still in infant-stage, but the rest is really working for me. I am doing 10 minute TN spreads daily now, and really enjoying the results. My 12x12 pages are also getting done in under an hour rather than 3. TFS

What a great challenge and I love the background paper! I know I couldn't do it unless I had everything presorted and ready to stick down with an exact plan in my head of where everything was going to be. It would still take me forever as I'm such a slow scrapper and constantly change the way I want my page. tfs
Speed scrapping isn’t for everyone and I certainly wouldn’t want to rush all of my layouts like this but it definitely demonstrates that a great page could be made quickly. 😁
I know right. I had to watch this back when editing and my arms look sluggish. And I was having to move really quickly too and so would hate to think how much slower it would look if this was "normal pace" Lol
wow that was impressive Claire! I know I couldn't imagine doing a layout in less than a few hours, so this is pretty amazing. It turned out beautifully too. Well done!
Sweet layout, thank you. And I get the whole idea of crafting in a short space of time ... maybe. I just think there are plenty of places in my day where a shorter duration is welcome (think any household chore), but when it comes to creating something lovely and, hopefully, lasting, I don't begrudge that "task" or try to hurry through it. Still in all, enjoyed your process however brief.
Give this a go. Great little kick start with a super quick layout to build your confidence. It means you don’t have time to procrastinate over the decisions 😃
Yeah that layout was super quick. I even surprised myself. I wouldn't like every layout to take 8 minutes but its great if you only have like half an hour to sit down and do something creative. Thanks for watching.
