Hi everybody,
This was FUN!
I am the definition of slow! I can’t do anything super fast! I get anxious, I start sweating, I am out of breath etc Especially when I do makeup on myself!
What I want you to take with you from this video is that makeup requires time! And from my experience on working with women, we don’t have a lot of patience. We want it quick and PUUURRRFECT!
It can’t be done perfect in 5 min that’s for sure but it can make you look decent and put together.
I hope you enjoyed it, now I’m gonna go wash my brushes because tomorrow I’ll do a makeup course and then I’m going to see BEYONCEEEEE!!!!! I am beyond excited, I think I won’t sleep tonight!

I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how to travel for an overnight stay for up to a week without bringing your whole bathroom with you. I know for your work it's different but I think some of your tips for traveling with products could be so helpful for so many of us who travel a bit more during the summer. Thank you!

Amy M. - I too would like to see this sort of video. What are the essential/minimum products required for travelling that can give more than one look. Perhaps we could see different looks using the same few products.

Yes! I travel a lot for work and don't like bringing my whole kit, especially because I need to separate out the liquids and I lose track of all my travel-sized products. Would be great to focus on makeup that's easy to bring in a carry-on bag (i.e. no liquids) that still get you looking polished and ready to work or play.

I love this video!! I have seen plenty of 5 min make up and everyone has their own spin and I appreciate them all but I really appreciate how you went into detail in describing how to organize yourself better in order to make it more realistic. I didn't even think about it. No matter how much I try, I cant put on my makeup in 5 min but I'm going to take your advice and see how I do! Thanks so much!!

Ali, you are great, the best !! I love your voice and presentation. I am 73 and have not liked wearing makeup base. Your technique of applying foundation is great ! I don’t feel like I’m wearing a mask. I have learned so many easy and great ways to apply makeup from you ! I can’t thank you enough. I feel natural and ‘younger’ with your help.

I just got the Dior backstage foundation today. I applied it with my fingers and I didn't love it. I want to love it, Andreea!!!! It seems to emphasize all my lines and pores. Ugh! I'm going to apply it tomorrow with a Beauty blender and see if I like it better. I hope I do.

OMGosh you did great! I always go over 5 mins like you did at the end..put a little highlight here a spray there. What opened my eyes was the brow fill in. My brows are uneven (naturally)! It took you 30 seconds!!! Wow I need to do something about my brows. It will save me so much time collectively. You can put the products you use on The video like subtitles when you edit the way Lisa Eldridge does, it won’t be a hassle for you to read the product/brush you’re using every time, if it is a hassle for you. Love the video ❤️

That was great! The only surprise was the powder! But I have VERY dry skin, so I use the tiniest bit! I would love to see how you organize your 5 minute kit and also a kit for a normal look. I have too much make up & have been trying to perfect a quick kit & a case for when I am putting on make-up with time.

Thank you for this kind of tutorial. There’s always something new to learn. I just want to “add” something happened to me with the spooly, I just lost some hairs of my brows with it, I’m trying to make them grow again and instead of a spooly I use a clean fine mascara silicone brush. It might be useful for someone else. Congratulations for your series!

I'm with you, girl! Whenever I have to do a quick makeup look, I get sweaty and nervous and always end up messing up. I'm better with having about 15 minutes to do my makeup, but when I have time, I can drag it on to 45 because I enjoy the process so much :D
