Also, you'll often find his name in the credits of their songs, in a position none of the other members seem to occupy - "chorus"... (the other members usually take "synthesizers", "songwriting", "composition", "production" "mixing" etc, not to say jk hasn't had some of these as well). "Chorus" is a position which implies JK has basically used his voice as an instrument, the way a bassist or drums or keyboards would be credited... His vocal instrument is used to create and fill out the track.

I’m in choir so I could help with the vocal terms! Um this is my opinion but I could be right! Kookie can go low and high which means he could be a soprano 2 meaning you sing alto (low) or soprano (high) but for men it’s different so he could be a tenor (higher than a baritone which is low, so V is a baritone) Kookie is prolly a high tenor or high alto, he uses his a mix of his chest and head voice a lot meaning he goes high and low a lot so it can’t be fully head voice or chest voice which he always does. I hope u could understand this and Kookie literally is one of the greatest vocalist I’ve heard personally!🥺🥰

I think what you're talking about is called switching registers. Registers is like chest voice, mixed, head voice etc (there are 6 total also including vocal fry, falsetto, and whistle). The most common registers being switched between in pop are typically head and mixed voice. It is quite difficult to do that as it requires a lot of control over your voice and emotion too in a way since getting nervous can lead to your voice getting more stuck in a higher voice/head voice as our voices tend to raise when we're nervous. I've been practicing singing for about 4 years now and I still sometimes have trouble with that, especially since I used to naturally sing in head voice all the time before I knew about registers. With switching registers, you also have to be careful to not push too much because people can hear _everything_ in your voice, but it's hard cause it takes a lot of mental effort to keep switching, do it quickly, and make it sound effortless.

Jimin's vocal range is higher than Jungkook! That's even scary cuz they both together could sing any note they want!! The power!
