2015 will show Nightwish for what they are. The tightest, hottest rock band in the world today, with the singer who totally fits the mould at last, perfectly. Nothing will stop them now.
David Roupell except they're not rock, they're symphonic and power metal...and tbh there are bands much heavier/harder than nightwish. Not saying they're bad, I'm seeing them and Sabaton this month, but still.
50 years?!?! Damn Tuomas I realy hope that's a promise... I'm already getting a new fans ready, my girl is just 4 years old but she loves the ghost love score and the 2 year old one is getting there too :)
I hope they don't completely ditch the orchestra,at least for some songs. The perfect balance between the heavily orchestrated music and the energetic metal is my favorite thing about Nightwish.
Elaman Vetta I'm really looking forward to their new album regardless of what they choose to do; I know they've reached a point of their career where they have experimented and matured so I'm not worried at all... I'm just hoping they will humor me a little :P
Bravo Nightwish. At least 2 things happened as I have expected. 1. Floor and Troy becoming official members. 2. More personal music and a little bit less orchestra traks in the future, I mean Nightwish is the best symphonic metal band ever, but there also is a lot of potential in every member and I hope to hear at least one album exclusively played by the band.
You are a true genius in presenting the band with all the power of the talented musicians and now with having Floor doing lead vocals. The dynamics are unlimited. With even watching the videos brings goosebumps with feeling all the power of a song. Thank you and keep doing what your doing. Peace!!
Ironically this is the BAND that got me truly into METAL. It was the very first Night Wish Album ever that I was introduced to, and it lead me on a journey into the world of Metal that I have dwelled in ever since.
can't wait for the DVD huge Nightwish fan and I wish Tarja and Anette the best of luck in the world with their lives and careers and can't wait to hear a Nightwish album with Floor.

have you listen to songs like ghost rover and i want my tears back? they would be dead without emppus guitar riffs or even last ride, sharah, ghost love score or wish i had an angle just saying, this songs a very heavy when it comes to the guitar

exactly, I don't think there will be another oceanborn, some people is taking this "back to the roots" as another oceanborn, when nw make a new album I always say " could be like..." and it never happen, all this easy songs like sleeping sun, nemo,amaranth are not my cup of tea, I think could be like century child, you know just less orchestra, but I am sure am going to fail in this one as well
Yey! Finally after 10 years they would make an oldschool album... I hope they remember how to play their instruments, Emppu was descent guirarist at the begining, but with last 3 albums his role has become smaller. And that lazy jerk Tuomas was the only person in the world that could make you headbang to keyboards... It is a real shame he decided to hide behind pompous orchestrations in 3 albums. :@
obviously you don't know what are you talking about, this critics just for mock are very fanboy, rare that such composers like Steve Harris, Tony Iommi, Mark Jansen, Jari and Kai from wintersun doesn't think like you do and your super critic based in your personal taste and not in your composer abilities, this"pompouse"music have more structure that a boring-cliché keyboard solo, Idont get why they have to play solos again and again, just to make happy to the teenage, glad Tuomas is no like that

I hope they don't play more power metal, it's quite boring, even Marco hate it, emppu doesn't like the solos, actually nw always make different stuffs, there is not other dpp, there is not other wishmaster, is always different
Sorry..but this was a choice out of desperation. Yes, she is beautiful and talented but isn't lifting the band out of typical Gothic commercial waters. This band that once had a Titan for classical vocal has made another fail choice. YES...she is beautiful and talented but not the voice that reached beyond legendary. Hail Tarja!!
Have you even listened to her first band 'After Forever'? or her second ReVamp. Floor is also a classically trained Soprano, and has no issue with switching from a powerful rock-metal belt to a full blown operatic voice. Personally, I think Floor is the best vocalist that Nightwish has had. She can sing like both Anette and Tarja with no issue. Anyway, there are better female operatic symphonic metal vocalists then Tarja, Lori Lewis from 'Therion' and Helena Iren Michaelsen from 'Imperia' being two of them.
Sorry Martin, but you must not be very familiar with Floor or her vocals. She can sing classical like Tarja but instead of relying on it solely she uses it only when the moment is right. Her rock voice is out of this world and her dynamic creativity is incredible, especially live. She also uses her body as an almost accompanying instrument to her vocals, not too mention she can work a crowd like no other. You really should check out After Forever, Revamp and live performances with Nightwish. What she does with "Ghost Love Score" is beyond beyond. Her improv at the end instantly turns it into a Floor classic. She reaches far beyond Tarja ever could in almost every way.
