I'm interested in going back to school for a marine biology degree. I didn't realize that some of the courses taken are the same that some people take to be a nurse or doctor. It still doesn't deter me though and I've been doing alot of reading on some marine science, including the books you've recommended in one of your previous videos 🙂

I'm a 12th Grade student and in my country Business major is in ABM strand (accountancy, business, management) I'm currently in HUMSS strand but I'm still going to pursue Marine Biology in college, it was a late decision to find my true passion to pursue in college, I thought about taking law back in 10th grade thats why I ended up in HUMSS,, no regrets tho but hopefully, I can still manage to take Marine biology in college!!! i really love the sea and everything in it
omgg your point about the fishing industry, i feel you so hard! i just took marine fisheries policy and it was SO eyeopening. it irritates me soo much how people watch these very, VERY inaccurate, cherrypicked, outdated, biased, etc, documentaries like seaspiracy and blackfish and run with it. (ps i'm on a binge of your videos hiii)
@@user-08083 the University of New Haven! I still attend UNH and I'm getting my graduate degree from them. I both took and TA'd the intro to marine bio class and it's a really great hands-on class that teaches you a lot
I really just want a job that has to do with the ocean, I want to explore the ocean and it’s life. My goal (I probably won’t reach this goal lol) but it is to discover a fish and name it after my sister
I personally want to be a marine veterinarian but I’m not sure if there are specific areas of this field like working with mammals,or reptiles,or birds or if I’m working with all so if anyone could clear that up with me I would definitely appreciate it! Also love your videos I learn so much!
