Moissanites are not fake because there are natural moissanites in the world, a big one was recently discovered in Israel, but they are too rare to sell in big quantity.

I had a diamond ring, I unfortunately lost it, and decided to replace it with a moissanite. I LOVE the moissantite. It’s clear, it sparkles like crazy, and it’s absolutely stunning. My fiancé says he wishes he knew about them before he bought the expensive diamond I ended up losing because of how beautiful the moissanite is.

Most people don't even inderstand the conception of a diamond, how it is actually overpriced and as a matter of fact a mass product, pricing strictly controlled by the diamond cartels. Up to now Moissanite is actually far more rare than a diamond, but that might change as the production grows 😉 There is still a lot of effort & craftsmanship behind a Moissanite which justifies the price. Here in Germany or general in Western Europe people are completely oblivious to Moissanite, it's a market still to conquer. I got my five carat ACC Moissanite via Etsy from the US, the stone was individually hand cut for me and the setting was also created just as I wanted it. It wasn't exactly cheap, but the same quality as a diamond would have cost me an arm and a leg 😜 I love it as an ALTERNATIVE!

Im a fairly new sub. You have inspired me to start making my rings and pendantnts using moissanite. I am absolutely blown away at the beautiful fire they produce compared to the diamonds ive had to buy. Because of the overly high pricing on diamonds, i cant afford perfect diamonds. But i can afford perfect moissanite.lol i thuroughly enjoy your videos and have learned a lot. In this particular video though, i feel you could have described the differences and other info on the stones a little better. Aside from that, everything else anf every other video has been absolutely informative.

what is the difference between Synthetic Diamond (recognise by GIA) and Moissanite?

Moissanite passes on a diamond tester.... However, they do make a moissanite tester to test between diamond and moissanite. So basically, jewelers will test a stone on a diamond tester first. Then afte it passes, only some will test on a moissanite tester. Jewelers better get hip to moissanite's growing popularity before they start losing a lot of money.

How does moissanite handle repairs

My bf and I went ring shopping yesterday and I looked at all the rings starting with diamonds. I have never heard of moissanite before but when I got to the section unbeknownst to me I couldn’t believe how much more brilliant it was and how much less it costs. After doing more research, I’d much rather prefer the moissanite due to it being ethically sourced, shine and price range.

I inherited a solid 18kt wedding moissanite set and tennis bracelet in 2003 , and it was bought in Kentucky by my Great Aunt and I think she paid like 1,200$ for both items ... and now on the C&G website these items are sold for over $15,000 ? So I’m a little confused. I really came to your video just because I wanted to know if my 3.45 carat Charles & Colvard solitaire moissanite is worth anything? Set in 18kt yellow gold and it’s accompanied by a 2.75 carat wedding band to go with it. So it’s basically a wedding set. I also inherited a 10 carat 18kt moissanite tennis bracelet with a safety security chain. Now my aunt gave this to me in 2003 and I think my uncle said he paid $1,300 for both items and so now they seem to sold for over $15,000, and my sets have more gold weight and more Carat weight to them. I was gonna sell both items for 2,000$ but then I looked online Now both of those items come with papers certificates from the C&G company and serial numbers on the certificates and I was browsing online and the wedding set that I have doesn’t even seem to be sold anymore, and the only 10 carat bracelet they have is $6,799 (close to mine in style but mine is heavier) and the wedding ring set on the current website is 2.50 carat and they are selling for $4,599 .... SO I’m assuming mine is worth more? jewelry is only really worth what someone is willing to pay for it right?? I mean how much can I actually get from these items if I sell them?

We got married young, my husband and I both got a simple gold band. Forward: Got a 2 carat diamond cushion around our 20th anni for our 25th. Now we just had our 30th and while I love my real 2 carat diamond I thought I’d get an August cut 3 carat this time. I opted for a 3 carat round moissanite instead 👀. I know, crazy right? But it’s not that much bigger than a 3 carat round. I can’t wait to get it in a few weeks 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 PS: When I said 4 carat round I actually meant 10mm.

Having worked in the jewelry business I notice that the one thing that no one is mentioning is that yes there is a brilliance, hardness on mohs scale, clarity and color can be impressive! The one thing no one mentions to clients or on these infomercials is that just like Alexandrite there is a color change in sunlight unlike a diamond..... unless of course you have a phosphorescent diamond which will glow under a black light and are very notorious with woman who go to clubs and have found their diamonds glow(does not effect the value) but some find it less desirable!! When you are showing off your ring and your in sunlight and instead of capturing the brilliance of light you see yellow it can be very disheartening to the client. When buying or selling a product you must be totally honest and show all the product is capable of. There is nothing wrong with color change but if you sell the item for price and comparability to that of a diamond it isn't. It is man made which is fine but it has its unique properties just like a man made diamond is real but not made by nature. Yellowing in sunlight is a real issue and if people are not aware of this factor you are not being honest not matter how perfect your presentation is it is no selling the true individuality of a Moissanite sell all of the beauty otherwise if a client passes it off as comparable to a diamond some lady or man will be very disappointed it is for some the purchase of a lifetime filled with love and sentiment and the one item that symbolizes enternty and love you must be honest and market it's TRUE BEAUTY COLOR CHANGES AND ALL!!!

All my joints are Moissanite!!! However, my wife's engagement wedding ring, from Kay Jewelers, is actually 1.5ct. Wish I'd known about Moissanite, because Knowing my wife not being a materialistic gold digger, she would've appreciated a Moissanite ring twice the size of her 1.5ct and less expensive😕

And I would also say a lot of people don't ever ever and I mean ever put in that price range for the time the skill and the purity of your heart and making that jewelry or anything it seems. It is easy for me to go and put a set of heads and a cam in somebody's vehicle you try doing that with what you do and the amount of time it would take me to do that come on. That's why jewelry cost so much because it's small it takes attention to detail and it takes a special special heart of that human being making that piece of jewelry to bring that thing to life. I wish I had more people like you around me because that's awesome and what you're doing is awesome
