selling Lars's soul stones. I would have had Lars at 5 star if I hadn't maybe half way to absolute star. The skills I didn't have a problem with. However using Auto in the tower was a problem for me. After I learned the best skills to use together and never use auto I am able to clear the tower 100% of the time with my hero's as they are. Artifact's I lvled up at the same time but wasn't really a problem. My team. I started to use a team that worked well together at first and was an epic team till lvl 60-64. Asteroth, Qing Mao, Judge, Thea, and Elmir. Good team to start with but after lvl 60 their weakness shows. Upgraded to Lars, Krista, Celeste, Galahad, and Nebula. I still don't use hotkeys.
I think you should add that many heroes are multi role. For example, you talked about not using Galahad and astraroth together later on. But you might ant to if you build astraroth as a pure support hero, and Galahad as a pure tank. Even as a weak configuration Astraroth can be used as support for a markman on your team against a strong markus on the opposing team...
I am guilty of a few of these mistakes, but, as far as Artifact quests are concerned, I send the suggested team and do one Artifact quest at a time. Of course I am just a casual player and not a 'prime(?)' player so I only have a few Heroes at this time.
The first beginner mistake was thinking it was going to be a puzzle type game like all the advertising shows. The second was continuing to play after realizing it wasn't, because its addictive. Third was maybe saving all my resources as they were instead of using them. Fourth was trying to stick to and level a 5 hero team when I needed 15 for the arena and to make the Airship expeditions go quicker.
That's because of their ads and I have yet to find what they advertised in the actual game. The one type of puzzle mini-game that is in the game is a bonus for gaining campaign stars, but from what I've seen that stops after chapter 7 of the campaign, though I'll admit I haven't gone through a number of chapters yet since levels in the campaign increase far quicker than how fast hero levels increase.
First mistake: Started playing Next mistake: Kept playing Last mistake: charged credit card It is an infinite MONEY PIT. Honorable mention: Helped make some Euro jerk rich
the only mistake that matters is downloading this game thinking its like the ads. a second mistake would be to ever download anything from this developer again
Another mistake is leveling lots of heroes at once. I made it too. I realized later that in late game thing are already too much for your main five, so I decided to focus on my top 10.
At least I didn't make all the mistakes, not no.3 (hoarder lol) I am hoping to make better use of hotkeys once my neck and shoulder are mended and I soon learnt that auto was not the best way to fight :D - not feeling so bad now, thank you uhero wars :D
The biggest mistake is to use emeralds to upgrade heroes after purchasing them. At the beggining of the game it could looks like the emeralds will come very frequently and with plenty of them each time... but WRONG, they are really scarce, so dont waste them with the autoupgrades.
Mistake 1...realizing you have to spend money to get gold.and gems to keep up with everyone who.spends money to make their teams crazy strong... Mistake 2 not spending money to where you play in tournaments and the teams you play have spent so much money they make your highest teams look like first graders. Mistake 3....wasting money cause you have to in order to keep up cause everyone is kicking your ass cause you didnt wanna spend money
Mistake 4... Playing this game long enough to realize it's all about trying to get you to spend money. Mistake 5... Not playing a better game like Monster hunter that only cost up front to play.
@@OperationDx1 I agree. I played for first time the day before yesterday. I spent quite a lot of time since i used a lot of free stuff, not is gone and i lack gold so realize how much spending if you want to play this game right.
First mistake going to server 149 from server 354. Second mistake - spend resources on all hero. 3rd mistake - Geting one artifact for even hero which I dont use. 4th mistake - upgrading all skill of the heroes
1 - Mistake: upgrade all hero skills indiscriminately Solution: prioritize upgrading level-dependent skills 2 - Mistake: upgrading all artifacts indiscriminately Solution: Combine strategic artifacts and define the priority of each artifact type (for a physical damage team use armor penetration, critical hit and physical damage bonus) 3 - Mistake: selling heros soul stones Solution: try to avoid selling them and keep hero soul stones for future use 4 - Mistake: use 2 or 3 tanks in the same team Solution: use 1 strong tank + 4 heroes of different roles would be a more balanced strategy 5 - Mistake: disregarding manual mode and hotkeys Solution: make the most of these awesome features
beware of hero "reworks" heros you invest in can be reworked by the game developers to change their effectiveness. consider this when you're building your main team. they may rip power away from you that you invest hard earned resources into. Take ishmael for example. after his rework he is less effective. however combining him with other critical hit charachters can redeem whatever was lost in the rework to some degree.
Upgrading all my heroes at the same level. For exemple, if I had 20 heroes, i would bring all to the same level before raising some to a superior level. Now I keep one team at the highest level, a second one or two levels behind, a tird one still a bit behond and I rarely touch the others anymore. I just work whit the new recruits to bring them to the same level as the base and leave them there after.
My worst, I played a month before joining a guild not knowing I was missing half of the game. It took awhile for my Titans to get respectable on par with my hero power. Still not there completely, but closer now.
5 mistakes for beginners: 1. Not skipping the ad 2. Downloading the game 3. Playing the game 4. Getting addicted 5. Waste your money on a generic game Enjoy
I decided to give this childish-look game a chance. But I am level 21now and STILL don't know how the spells work. I don't see any possibility to CHOOSE which spell is used. Nothing is explained ingame about it. So I leveled only the first main skill and untill now I win battles very fast. Even arena. here you say that level-dependant spells should be priority but they are weaker than first skill. And not used at all even levelled. Or I cannot see it ingame.
My mistake definitely indiscriminate leveling of artifacts and skills. Though I do wish to ask, is it a mistake to try to summon as many heroes as possible? I already have over half the available number of heroes summoned. Do you think I am stretching my resources to thin?
The best thing to do is to gather the heroes for your primary team(s) you wish to use and invest your resources into those heroes. This becomes crucially important later on when the cost of upgrading heroes significantly increases. That said, having additional heroes to upgrade more slowly isn't bad, especially when completing quests, including during special events, since it takes less resources to upgrade lower level heroes. Generally, you will only need 15 heroes to focus on since certain game modes require that, such as Grand Arena. It's not bad to upgrade somewhat more than that though since meta changes over time and one hero that wasn't as good may become much better later on. Ultimately, it's a game so what's most important is focusing on what's fun for you.
I've got a question about Dorian: I want to put him in my team, I have summoned him, but I am worried about him being stuck at two star evolution for a long time. There is no readily available way to evolve him. Should I continue to gear and upgrade him anyway and just wait for him to be hero of the month and wait for some event that increases his drop rate at the hero chest store? Or should I switch to a different healer? Thanks
I never sold soul stones yet, but I (still) have 3 tanks, a marksman, and a healer. I also upgrade all heroes to the same level, but I think I have plenty of XP potions, like 100 big, and 1000 normal.
I wrote about the soul stones mistakes in the community contest event some months back; or was it last year? Started playing on FB and was so use to how other games were set up that a lot of things were missed. When I started playing on web, I made sure to stick it out as long as I could for the Arachne event which was mainly till I ran out of energy. I still use Auto even if it's not beneficial because things happen out of the blue - like your mouse battery dying or a system outage/black out.
I would like a readable text instead of this video. And my mistakes are not in the video. My mistake was, to grow my playerlevel faster as the heroes, because i did not know, which heroes i should level first. So i leveled the most to level 40 till i saw, they are not helpful. But the teamlevel was much higher as the heroes at the end. The damage was done. Tower was not doable for me for a long time.
Levelling very hero was a mistake for me (amongst others) especially with the tower. My team level is 91, but strongest 3 hero's are only 70 now. So struggle to get past level 13 on the tower!
the trick there is not Complete all those Daily quests in EXP on them. You can do the quest no problem but do NOT click COMPLETE. That way your team levels stay lower and the Tower is easier to do. Tower difficulty is dependent on your team level, so keep it low!
i don't think using more than 1 tank against higher and stronger enemies is a mistake at all especially with weak mages on the same team just focus on stunning your enemies and dodging them
Mistake 1: Trusting the game was a puzzle game only to find out its a shitty combat based game. Mistake 2: Thinking its a good game as it was, and figuring out that the game it actually is is buggy as characters disappear on the screen. Mistake 3: Thinking the game is fair, when there is 15 VIP passes to buy so you can actually progress in the game and have fun. (Didnt fall for it). RIDICULOUS Mistake 4: Going to this video to see if anything can help with progress. Mistake 5: Not uninstalling this trash game made to be a cash grab that looks like its coded by a child.
I sold the 7 Isaac stones I had left after absolute starring him, because I didn't yet know how to get to the soul shop, or that I had to go there to trade them for soul coins.
What if I just hate a character, like Jimmy Neutro, the girl “engineer” or the fairy? I sold their SSs & I still don't regret it. Same with many others.
have the hope that by spending 4500 gems in invoking heroes, something new would come out, only heroes that I can buy in amistd and sand shop, my mistake, I must have spent it in gold or cocaine
Hmmm, ok, and where to play the game they show you at the intro's. This is just slash and walk, means... becomes boring at the end. And then pay for such a game? Nah, not me... not for such a game...
Now that I've read the comments, and other people are saying the puzzles are rare, and the main game mode in the ads is only for the mobile version, I have more reason to quit this game.
How is the lawsuit against you going? You know, because of locking consumers into subscriptions that they cannot cancel, false sales practices, manipulation of game mechanics that render consumer in-game purchases worthless, using casino-style methods to extract payments from players, and the RPG’s pay-to-win model.
It is NOT true that we can get double rewards for clearing the level for the first time in the dungeon! That is a big misleading lie!!! Go ahead and observe it carefully, record where you failed to clear the level yesterday and see if the next day you get double rewards for clearing that level for the first time! The rules in the dungeon about getting double rewards for clearing level for the first time is FALSE! No wonder my titans upgrade so damn slow... slow...... slow.........
@@dahoov2 True. I have little to no respect for developers who favor rich players over poor once. Games nowadays are geared towards letting the player with good skills wins and not the one with a fat wallet and make their money through cosmetics like Fortnite and Dauntless.
Final puzzle is on the end o every Campaign until Chapter 7 (map), if you made every stage with 3 stars (end of bottom bar 45 stars) - yes, very disapointing pit for money ...
Hello, sir. Nice video. I made some of these mistakes. XD. I just didn't understand the second one. Is it right to upgrade skills that don't depend heroes levls, isn't it?
Yeah, he was just saying to prioritise level dependant ones. Like the stun ones, really useful if they hit, but if they miss make the special almost useless
I think you should add that many heroes are multi role. For example, you talked about not using Galahad and astraroth together later on. But you might ant to if ID:5122857
I think I was deceived into playing this game!!! In the advertisement it shows that the game is like some kind of IQ puzzles!!! Players need to solve the puzzle and get the hero out safely. But in actual game, it has ONLY 2 IQ puzzle games in the whole game!!! That 2 puzzle games only appear in the 1st chapter!!! There are a total of 15 chapters and each chapter has 15 stages, imagine the percentage of 2/225!!! I FEEL LIKE BEING CHEATED!!! WHAT THE F_CK!!! The reason I still play this game is because of COVID-19, I won't spend a single cent on this cheater game!!!
ID 3218703: Happy birthday! I wish you many players satisfied like me. I have never spent so much time with another online game. HeroWars is the best I have ever played. It is due to great events. I am looking forward soooo much for the Birthday event. I am looking forward as well for the Birthday event next year as well:)
Actually none, I've played RPGs before and I knew that as generous as they were being with resources to hook us in, eventually, the time would come when I would be paying through the nose for advancement regardless.
Thinking that this is a game. It is only half a game. They got the grind part down; it is quite good. But there is no actual game; hardly anything you will DO with the team(s) you keep upgrading. It is all for naught.
