Looking at the minimap is so important. Once I was defending A sitte on icebox and the enemy team was rotating to B, so I was going for a small lurk just to see if someone was still lingering there. But there is this glitch that if the enemy is right by the upper ledge of the viper wall you can still spot them on the minimap even tho you cant see them, that's when I just spot enemy reyna on nest, I use my wall to lurk into prison and just hold her cross, then suddenly she just goes into rope slowly and I just kill her. She didnt check her minimap and I did lol
I hate crouching. I am a bronze player who has good cross hair placement towards the head due to so many helpful videos like these. The problem with this is that everyone at my rank has crouch bound to left click, so I end up dying to a player doing something bad and they climb and I don’t. So frustrating. I’m still not gonna crouch tho.
Crouching is not bad, you can crouch during some situations when you know the enemy wont check you or if you are just hiding, however if you're trying to tap a target 30m away or trying to get a quick pick dont crouch.
thats sooo annoying. On my low account I played without crouch key as a "challenge" but then there are the other players who do nothing then crouch the whole time and even crouch walk like a crab and u dont hit shit
I think it was from a skillcapped video, i remember the narrator telling me to check the enemy's money instead of kill counts whenever I press TAB. It helped me recognise when could the enemies OP, go on ecos or understand they forced so they have less abilities or armour and that helped me with my planning for the round a lot. I started anchoring sites on enemy ecos well and decide when should I fall back for retakes.
Its very unfortunate when you're holding an angle and you look to minimap for a sec and boom enemy is infront of you and rip it happens to me many times when my day is not going good
In this hypothetical example where Jett has 30 kills that don't matter every game, and Skye has 10 that were super impactful, Skye will gain more elo in the long run, because she will win more games. That being said, hypotheticals like these are just used to teach a concept. Most of the time if a player is dropping 30 kills a game, they're probably having at least some amount of impact. It's just important to understand that kills do not equal impact inherently.

I don't know how often I died because I looked to much at the minimap....I'm like walking somewhere or holding an angle and then I want to shortlyy look at the minimap but I end up looking ther for about 10 seconds...then I don't see an enemy coming andd I dieee..yaaayy..
I mean u should look at the minimap for like 2 seconds. Try to hold angles but it does happen to everyone. Remember if the enemy team had a player die just staying somewhere where they don't have map control Is really useful. Gl
Yeah if u don't hear any shots ot bullets go off make sure to just hold somewhere especially if it's mid. Mid control Is important but sometimes u have to give it up but I hope the best in ur games
Bro i use the map all the time cus i used to grind league 24/7 and it always triggers me when people say "I dont know whats happening bro" like use the map lol
don't forget the 4th info source: Footsteps Sound of the spike being dropped Someone dropping off/jumping/reloading All of these useful info are forgotten simply coz people don't use headphones/earphones..
I wish it was possible to turn down the gunshot volume in the game because they're too loud. I tend to have my volume really low as a result because I'm concerned about my hearing, but of course it's harder to pick up steps, reloads, and other not so noisy sounds.
Mistake number 1, Playing at 9fps. now if you wanna truly rank up, you are going to need some form of good equipment. Now you don't have to pay $3000, and have the best of the best equipment. But your 980m is going to hold you back once you start getting into the higher ranks. People are going to be using more of their utilities. Now this isn't a problem at all, in fact it should be expected. However your old hardware just wont cut it when the difference in a gun fight is milliseconds. - User that lags the second a smoke goes down, and also mains smokes
@@lenny7828 thats why they said "you dont have to pay 3000, and have the best of the best equipment". they mean its obviously ideal to have the best of the best but its not attainable for most people so having a setup that can handle the game at a decent level is what you should strive for.
i used to pay a lot of attention to my numbers so i made the decision to unbind my scoreboard and my kills and stuff immediately improved because i wasn’t thinking abt the numbers just my impact. I don’t necessarily advise this tho because sometimes you need to know what’s going on with enemy economy etc. so if you are gonna do that que with summ who will tell you that stuff.
i generally focus on impact more than kills cuz my in game shooting is bad however i end being called a bot by the entire lobby even if we secure the win tough path to walk on
Im immortal player and I will tell u when u shoud crouch. First and the main idea of crouch is to break crosshair placement, u shoud use crouch when: 1) u r peeking a certain angle and ur 100% sure that there s an enemy watching u. It gives u advantage cuz u can adjust ur crosshair placement and he cant. So peekers advantage+crouch peek = ez kill. 2) one more expample, ur jett and u pushed and take an off angle. u can crouch to get better accuracy and than dash away. Same works for Reyna and her E or Chamber and his E. When u shoud not crouch: DO NOT crouch in every aim duel. Why? Its simple if u miss a shot, u HAVE TO "spray and pray" because u have no other options+its much easier to trade u. You are easy target because u cant move. Bonus tip: Every time u peek or holding an angle, u shoud i ask urself "What's my oponent likely to do? Is he wideswing? Is he clearing angles? What gun does he have?". For example: If enemy has no info, he s likely to clear angles so u shoud adjust ur crosshair placement a little bit closer to the angle. If the enemy has OP he is likely to peek really close so u shoud and just crosshair placement (again). If u peek OP u shoud first bait him with jump peek and than peek etc. There are many situation. At first, its hard to think about that but eventually u will get used to this and it will happen automatically.

You are wrong about crouching. People crouch to counter recoil. Since bullets are going up, crouching brings crosshair down hence keeping bullets aiming at head untill the spray becomes to wide.
please stop recycling the same clips throughout the video. and at least show some visual examples relevant to the content even if youre not going to go into the detail of the clip.
Im bronze and i swear my crosshair is *usually* at head level and then my opponent insta crouches and i die. Either that or i have my crosshair slightly below head-level and then I adjust my spray/crosshair to their head as they crouch and i die. TL:DR my opponents bound their crouch to M1
im a diamond 2 player with honestly very good aim but i still crouch sometimes out of pure reflex from playing cs go so damn much... anw wish me luck for diamond 3 tmrww :)
I figured I watch peoples b rolls and montages of their best highlights, when you actually see them play they will look as good as you getting traded or getting carried. In some matches am the bottom fragger in some am carrying the whole team.
I went through a phase once when I started playing the game when all the enemies in my matches were crouching, when my aim was getting kinda better and i was practicing to headtap with the vandal more patiently and as repeated taps instead of spraying, the crouching enemies made so that i couldn't get kills easily that way making my frags even worse and i got so frustrated that i started hating the game and ended up binding my crouch key to left click as well, even though every pro kept saying that its bad in the low elos. After a few months i have started to learn to adjust to crouching enemies and not many peoples crouch that badly now.
and without the skye the jett would have to 1v4 opponents with rifles every round. its about working in combination to create the most TEAM impact. your team has roles they fulfill. such as the leader/stragetist, attacker, defender, etc.
Crouching isn't bad per se even in low elos, usually xD it depends on situation and if u are ready to commit to the fight, if ur ready to commit then u can crouch after few shots
