I like the mods you suggest but I feel upgrading to LED's all around is a safety must. It irritated me to spend North of 42K on my 19 CVO Street Glide and HD can't even start out with LED lighting. Being seen is the most important to me.
Solid list, only thing I'm lacking is the risers. The algorithm has been showing me videos that I watched 2+ years ago as "new recommendations" somethings definitely up.
I'm liking what your bringing up on modifying your bike , I think the first mod would be the seat , if you're BUTT ain't comfortable it doesn't matter what else you do , the 2nd would be the bars , that makes the control of your ride most important , the 3rd would be to be heard out there , if they don't see you they will definitely hear you and that's your choice of exhausts , my 4th is lighting , if you ride at night or you half to ride at night to get home your lighting will be most likely the safest item you can do to be seen , my 5th and last is leg comfort , weather you travel long distances or pop around town leg comfort is a major contribute to your style of riding , Brother I'm loving my 2019 EGS 107 with the stage 1 and my Rhinehart Racing 4.0s . Peace lol .
For me my top 5 mods are seat, exhuast, high flow air cleaner, tuner & suspension. Hoping to get suspension done soon. I also have a fairing, Mx pegs, padded sissy bar for when my 11yr old daughter comes along to throw down miles w/ me. I ride a 2013 FXDB...U saw it at the Sloops Brewery Group Ride back in May (Last bike shown in Video). If U saw the bike now...U wouldnt even recognize it. Looks nothing like it did back then. Added a Bassani 2 into 1 exhaust, bung king crash bar. Since it has the rare midnight pearl paint (which looks black in shade but deep Blue highlights in sunlight) I went with an all blue theme...blue Mx pegs, spark plug wires, air filter. Looking to get some blue anodized bolts for tank & brake rotors. Also looking to do license plate/rear turn signal relocation kit so that I'll have rm for leather pros saddle bags. My bags now have served me well...but I need more space. I havent even touch on planed mods for engine, but since at the current time Im in no position to do any enigne mods Ill end this post here. Hope all is well, Hope U and Ur Family had a Happy Thanksgiving...& Hope U have a good Christmas & New Years as well...🥂
Agree with the options but I think a tuner needed to be one of em . You can add air and full exhaust but no tuner it’s gonna run like trash . Especially when actually going up and down in altitude auto tuner is a MUST (barometric air pressure ) . And would love to have seen LEDs sounds dumb but they are a huge improvement . Gotta be seen and heard at night especially in rural areas . Good vid love it keep doing your thing 🤘🏾
My top 2 for Harley Touring. Seat and Suspension. Everything else can come later on down the road. Harley really needs to offer better ride comfort for the price we pay. Take care.
Lights, living in whitetail country and commuting in the winter makes being seen and seeing vital. Suspension, JFC, why can't the manufacturers step up to plate? Gear, I never stop improving my gear for all seasons and situations and aesthetics. Look good, feel good. Ergonomics, moving floorboards out, better seat, handlebars and foot pegs on the crash bars. Coffee cup holder because heck yeah.
