Failure? You ate a cooked meal(s). Get back on course. You're being way too critical... you fell down, now, get back up. If you stay in failure mode, you're going to keep falling off. Show yourself some grace, Whitney.
Girl, you are a f*cking total winner!!! Shut the front door. I had the raw is law mindset for a long time and that can be problematic for some people. Cooked food can be very nourishing. Medical Medium has so much good info on white potatoes and cooked squashes. These foods are not "toxic" because they are cooked. People can survive forever on potatoes as well according to Dr. McDougall. The Irish and the Dutch have both survived from famine on white potatoes, not even sweet potatoes. Raw food is amazing for us, but cooked food at the end of the day is okay booboo!! I should say anytime of the day, but for me cooked food is better for dinner. I eat raw all day and cooked at nite after my salad. No cooked processed junky foods, but plz don't swear off good nourishing cooked food if you have to!! It can be the best of both worlds if you need to or a lifestyle. Check out some of Medical medium's cooked meals on IG, they are all super healthy if you ever need. Nobody is judging you, we are just following your journey!! The ones that are judging have their own problems. ❤❤❤
🥹 Thank you! I don’t think cooked food is bad, I just like the way I feel when eating only raw foods. It takes away that sluggish feeling. I agree though. I just wanted to be transparent about how I felt and the difference in my experience with it. ❤️❤️
Vegan is the best, either raw of with cooked food, but raw is the best for healing, I could experience it! So now sometimes I eat raw several days then come back to some cooked food
I was afraid to write in the group that I had failed as well. It comes with my guiltiness. Bless you for being honest. I will support you regardless. I love your personality. Keep up the great work. Currently binging your videos. I am not sure why I missed your notifications.
You are amazing for sharing this for one, and for two, not many people "fall off" then get back on track so easily determined. Many people start to compromise a little more at a time, im proud of you, you're my inspiration ❤
First, my condolences on the loss of your father.🙏🏾 And I appreciate your transparency. Love following your journey.U have great intentions regarding your lifestyle and your health so u can’t fail.❤
You are so kind to be truthful, but I’m thankful you are giving yourself grace. One tip that helped me stay on track is doing a mono meal of fruit. Bananas, apples, pears, oranges, etc are usually found in every city. Eta: you are on an amazing journey and building an awesome lifestyle for YOU! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Nope you didn't fail at all Godis in my eyes you might have made a lil slipup but that's all it was we only fail when we give up and so far you've been doing nothing but inspiring me and many others like myself to partake in a healthy relationship with our foods and to reclaim our original diet please keep going eye love and respect you and everything you've been doing for the community it's very beautiful peace love light and healing to you Godis 💚🙏🌞🧬
No need to feel embarrassed, life happens! Kudos to you for being honest. RU-vidrs lie all the time. Honestly, it just shows you’re human. Im 30 and I’ve been on this raw vegan/ vegan train since 2013. We all mess up. And I’m sorry about your father passing. Can’t wait to see more videos from you
Thank you for your transparency, but please don't feel ashamed!! You have been dealing with A LOT and the loss of a loved one can turn your world upside down! You are still doing AMAZING, and please continue to give yourself grace!🙏🏽❤️
Girl!! Do not feel shame. You are such an inspiration to all of us and you are a winner regardless whether you eat cooked food!!!🎉🎉 I am sorry for your loss❤
Compassion for you, your journey, and your soul 💜. It’s a learning lesson and reminds you why you went RAW 💜 No need to feel guilt. Just get back on the wagon.
Sis. When I have did dehydrator foods homemade it made feel tired all the way until next day so I stop and ate raw no dehydrator anything my energy literally come back no tired straight forward. Juice fast literally change my life and would not mind doing another one just short all my nutritient was there Doctor had no complaints even b12 on point no supplements. People need to stop telling others what to do we Juicers have experience the benefits that will forever change our lives get on it.
I wouldn't even feel bad honestly because the average person couldn't even change their diet or literally go raw for 6 months. Thus is beautiful going raw.. that habit alone us life changing don't beat yourself up once you get your mind right get ya self back track if that what you choose.. good luck on your journey
One thing to remember, you had ate one way all your life. So don’t feel bad for going into default mode during a crisis. The longer that you are on a different path, eventually it will be your default as well. Blessed day and big hug!
Some people can't eat anything raw. Eat what makes you feel best. Some people eat just meat, some eat just raw, some eat just fruit. Everybody's body is different. There is a doctor on every spectrum. Never be dogmatic and never feel guilty. Everyone's journey is different 🌻🌻
If you ever have another slip-up, don't beat yourself up about it. Any rational person understands sometimes things happen that are not in our plans. You got right back to it too. You telling us about your slip-up is very encouraging too! For me, slipping up is eating processed foods like vegan meat replacements. While I'm only vegan and you're raw and do your juice cleanses, it does not feel like you're saying that your way is the best way or anything like that. You've made it clear that you do it for you because it makes you feel better. Your videos inspire me to eat more raw fruits and vegetables. I really appreciate the content you make and am looking forward to the next video! 😊
Aww thank you Jessica! & I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you knowing that I’m not saying my way is the best way because I support all lifestyles that people adopt on their health journey ❤️ I’m glad my videos resonate with you because sometimes I feel like some things are misinterpreted so I appreciate that! ❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽
I remember when that happened to me when we had Teacher Appreciation week. I had been raw for 3 months and then that happened. That was in May 2022 and it has been difficult trying to get back. Thanks for being transparent.
i deal with this alot too & at this point im so ready to get back to the Living/Raw lifestyle...this cooked food aint it...plus most ppl dont realize our bodies are changing & cant really break down dense food anymore . thanks for the motivation sis 💙
Life is to be lived.. You May want to look at the why you feel the need to shame yourself for eating… You are so dope and your juicing videos have helped me so much. This may be related to processing your fathers passing and this is the outlet you’re using. Love your spirit and I’m praying for your overall health
@@WhitneyPeoples we know you’re human and your genuine spirit comes through the screen that’s why we keep coming back. We support you and know that you can promote healthy living and be flexible with yourself. Love your transparency and thank you for sharing your story
Sis..it's not that big of a deal. Yes you ate cooked food... So! Your honesty is appreciated but sis you have done so much for the juicing community and healthy lifestyle Community.. You ok!!! Start back right now. People want to see real humans the good and not so good. Life happens. What I will be in my feelings about is if you stop period. Chile you bought a nama...a nama$$$$$. Get back on it we rooting for you. YOU GOT THIS!!! No judgment zone here!!!
Thank you! & I didn’t feel horrible because I ate cook food. I felt bad because I was promoting a raw lifestyle and then started eating cooked food. That’s where the shame was stemming from.
I'm pretty sure everyone has already said this. I haven't looked at everybody's comments, but, you acting like you went back to eaten pork or something LOL. All you did was eat cooked food. There's nothing to feel embarrassed or ashamed of. It's just cook food. You decided to eat a raw diet because it makes you feel your best, but there is no contract. So if you choose to eat cooked Foods on a particular day, then it's just that. There's nothing to be ashamed of. You made the decision to do something because that's what you wanted to do. And that's okay. No need to beat yourself up. Even if you decide you want to have a raw lifestyle, it's your prerogative to eat cooked foods, if that's what you want to do. And if you don't want to eat cooked foods and you accidentally do, just start fresh the next day. No big deal. It's not a sin. You didn't do anything wrong. It's just a decision that you made that you probably didn't really want to do, but this dust yourself off and start over the next day. You're good!?
I wish you would have read the comments but I will repeat it for clarity since I didn’t clarify it in my video. The guilt and shame wasn’t because I ate cooked food, it was because I was promoting a certain lifestyle and ate cooked food. That’s where the shame stemmed from because I’m big on transparency and wasn’t being transparent about it until this video. But thank you though. You’re absolutely right.
@@WhitneyPeoples it was too many comments to read. LOL. Plus, I didn't really care about what other people have to say. Lol. I understand. You were telling us about a certain lifestyle, and you did the opposite. But it's okay though. The point is you still stayed eating a vegan diet. And, even if you consider yourself a fully raw vegan, there's lots of people I've interviewed on my podcast, on IG live, that are fully raw, but there's times where they've had to eat cooked foods for whatever reason, or they just wanted to. And they ain't no shame in that. That's all I'm saying. You're still a winner in my book!
I wish my mom had helped me shop healthy ❤❤❤ I was on a round of meds in sept it was so hard on my body and gut . I never cleansed from that . I’ve got to do something.
You're fine!!! You're still high raw. It's OK to eat cooked food once in a while if you choose to do so. Your okay, this life style is a journey and you didn't fail!!! That's no such thing as failure. Stepping stone is what it is and guess what, you may eat cooked food again in the future and it's still ok!!! You have one life on this plane, your already leaps and bound pass where you started. And I'm sure the cooked foods was still vegan. As you just verified. Feeling guilt is a way to throw you off and cause depression which is a trick from the demonic spirits that be. Please stay your course! Your inspiring others!!
I tried to go raw a few summers ago. I found I got tired around noon everyday. Then once the temperature changed for fall and winter I started getting cold I found I would be freezing all the time so I started eating cooked food. Is this normal on a raw diet? Mostly everyone on yt I have seen that is raw vegan lives in a tropical environment which if I did I sure wouldn't want cooked hot streaming food. I appreciate any advice.
I'm in GA. I live in Hinesville.lm at 216 -lbs and ' did 2 days liquid w/ water a protein snakes, my day is more water. Can we start a fasting challenge with you?
Peace & Love Whitney, I am so grateful that you shared this video. I am definitely relating to this at this moment, but in a different way. I do have a quick question how many ounces do you consume on your 21 day juice cleanse?
Thank you! I was drinking up to 6 liters so that’s about 202 ounces. It’s not required for short juice fast but I fine that 6 liters on a longer juice fast is more sustainable.
It’s kind of interesting that you’d feel shame about eating food. I say this with love and not judgement. I know you may have just expressed how you felt in the moment and moved forward, but it makes me sad you felt that way at all. Sending good vibes your way. ❤ My condolences on your dad & please take care of yourself, innanet cousin. ❤
Thank you but I think you misunderstood where the shame was stemming from. I wasn’t ashamed that I ate cooked food. I was ashamed that I ate cooked food AND promoting a raw lifestyle online. It made me feel like I failed my audience. I would never be shameful that I ate food. That is not what I meant. & thank you!
If you were on ibuprofen and a steroid together then that's your first issue of why you maybe felt bad. Nsaids and steroids ARE NOT suppose to be given together. Plus steroids delay wound healing. Idk about your doctor prescribing these things... glad you're doing better though.
My doctor prescribed them both after my surgery and the pharmacist didn’t say a thing when I picked them up so apparently they don’t care about as much.
Hey girl, don’t feel that bad, I have only a one year raw vegan diet and know how emotions can also feel raw… take the time feel everything! I really appreciate kris kendal (@therawadvangage) and Dr douglas Graham (foodnsport on youtube and internet) approaches if it can help you🫶
