I wanted to share with my viewers that they don't need a machine. Also, by not needing a machine you can foil dimensional things that you can't put through a machine. Have fun :) Hugs....Janie

I have been foiling long before the Minc machine came out so all of my foiling had been done without a machine and I thought I would share that in my first foiling video (7 Ways To Apply Transfer Foil To Crafts WITHOUT A MACHINE!). Besides you can't put a frame or box or jar through a laser printer or laminator or foiling machine....LOL Thank you so much for stopping by and I'm happy like this and hope you watch the other one :) Hugs...Janie

I'm so happy you watched this and like it.....there are so many ways to use foil and it's a great way to add that something special to any project. The great thing about not having to use a machine is that you can apply it to anything, but with a machine you can only apply it to thin flat things like cards. As for the squeegee, I got those a long time ago and don't remember where, sorry. Thank you so much for watching my videos and I appreciate your comments so much :) Hugs...Janie

Hello 😊 To answer your question, no. The foil will transfer to a tacky surfaces and Mod Podge is not tacky when it's wet or dry. I suppose if you just wanted to Mod Podge the foil sheets to something like you would do with paper it might work, but you would not be tranfering the foil, you would just be adhering the foil, including the clear transfer backing. Do you understand what I mean? What I'm showing you in this video and in my other video, 7 Ways To Apply Transfer Foil To Crafts WITHOUT A MACHINE, is how to transfer the foil from the clear backing onto your project.....I'm not gluing the sheet to the project. You can see that as I remove the sheet the foil is no longer attached to it. But if you are just wanting to treat it as foiled paper and want to adhere the entire sheet to something with Mod Podge, you can always try that. If you haven't watched my other video on how to do it without a machine, I suggest you watch it. And if you want to learn more about other ways to use transfer foil, I have a playlist with all of my foiling videos in it. You probably can....BUT....for technique #1, use Deco Foil Transfer Gel DUO. It dries tacky so the foil will stick to it without having to use heat. So with that said, you don't need heat for ANY of the techniques I share in this video, and also my 7 Ways To Apply Transfer Foil To Crafts - WITHOUT A MACHINE!!! video that I mention in this video, and there is a link in the descripton box, but I'll put it right here for you ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q_mLbkYtSw4.html Also, here is the link to my video where I show using Transfer Gel DUO.... Sorry, I don't know if it will work with Spellbinders Hot Foil sheets.....I have never used them and don't have a hot foil machine because I don't need one. I use the techniuqes I shared in this video and in my other video 7 Ways To Apply Transfer Foil To Crafts WITHOUT A MACHINE. But I presume if you are asking about the Hot Foil sheets then you probably already have them and should just try it. And if you don't already have them then don't buy them, buy Deco Foil or other brands like Gina K Designs or Brutus Monroe. But if I were to guess, I would say it probably won't work with Hot Foil sheets because they require heat and pressure. If you try the Hot Foil sheets let me know how it goes 😊 Hugs.....Janie

Figured one of these days there would be a way to use them without buying the machine. I will try them and let you know. If push comes to shove, I also have a laminator I can try out. @@yvonnealvizo I just Googled it and watched a video. It appears that you can use the Hot Foil sheets for the techniques I shared....YAY!!! But it looks like the Hot Foil will not do good going through a laminator. It has an adhesive built in and where heat touches it the foil will stick......so if the heat touches it all over it will stick all over. To use the Transfer gel the heat needs to be as hot as the heat gun gets or as hot as your laminator gets, whichever you decide to use.....there is no temperature setting on my heat gun or my laminator. But for the other methods I show in this video and my other video "7 Ways To Apply Transfer Foil To Crafts WITHOUT A MACHNIE" you don't need heat. And yes....it's very cool :) Hugs...Janie
