You should give your chicken a quick rinse in water, avoid any ground up bone that may have adhered to the meat during preparation.

Those hot air poppers are wonderful if you can get them to work well. Design flaws in making them compact is my guess.

I did notice that yellow popcorn seeds pop way better in air poppers .. Less unpopped seeds :)

What happened to air poppers when I had an air popcorn popper yes occasionally it would let through a couple unpopped Kernels but for the most part it was really good about only giving you what woods popped because the unpopped kernels would stay at the bottom. I know that was common to have very long neck though too

Idk about the popcorn machine. He was using it outdoors, and hearing the wind, that's probably why it wasn't popping the kernels efficiently.

Wow, how did you find such crappy popcorn machines. My family had one for years literally decades and we didn't have to preheat it to get decent performance and it had a proper chute so it didn't launch them all over the room.

Those popcorn makers were a terrible. :(
