I get asked this all the time: How to I get nice, healthy hair so that it can grow faster and longer?
A few years ago, my hairstyle was a mess. I had no idea what I was doing, and would just slap some shampoo and conditioner on my hair every day hoping it would fix the problem. After a few years of reading, learning, and trying hundreds of different hair products, I can say that my hair has never felt healthier!

I used to do a lot of these but thanks to youtube and the internet i learned how to better take care of my hair. I do wash my hair every other day but thats just because i do tend to sweat a lot at work and i noticed after about 2 days of no shampoo it started getting greasy and washing everyday just made it dry so every other day keeps it soft and healthy for me. I still try to learn new styling and hair care tips to better take care of what i have.

Hey Alex, I have a question about days between shampooing. You mention here to shampoo 2 or so times a week depending on natural oils. In other vids you have shown that you recommend using oil, prestyling products, and then finishing products. How does washing with water (and maybe conditioner) work out when using multiple products? I used to also wash my hair everyday. I am now only doing it 2-3 times a week and it looks fine. It looks healthier already!

As you said in video that we can use conditioners every day but not shampoo. Wouldn't the conditioners affect the hairs or scalp as much as regular washing hairs with shampoo??

hey guys i got a question, i used to straighten my hair with hair straightener with the ceramic flat. Then i use a water based pomade. Then later i wash the pomade with shampoo everytime i use pomade. But why my hair so dry and getting even more curlier and feels just dried up? then i stopped hair straightens, still my hair so dry and had a haircut still dry af, help?

I actually see 10 to 20 strands only when I use a conditioner, and not at other times even when drying, if I am aggressive my hair won't break off. Should I change my conditioner?

Im growing a slick back but aint that long at minute about 4 inch or so and i got skin fade sides n back n when i aint got pomade or wax in it just looks a right mess isit safe to use either wax or pomade or even gel everyday n wash it out everynight let my scalp breath over night but in your video it says washing hair drys your hair out i can cope with that just as long as i dont go bold i heard using pomade wax n gel can make you go bold especially if you sleep init what could i do

This guys is totally right,mi cant believe he's still at 600k he must be at a million already, before i use to wash my hair with shampoo everyday! And then at the end of the day i find my hair dry af and the reason i shampoo er'day is because i believe since i apply wax on my hair multiple germs will hold on to it, but now i shampoo alternately and now my hair's smoother than before.

Does shampooing too often make your hair fall flat? I remember not having this issue but now my hair is just falling flat and acting weird, I’ve experimented with how much i use as a pre styler and nothing helps. I’m looking at hairstyle tutorials and just hair videos and all the guys get poofy hair that stays in the air but mine just falls flat, I’ve tried different techniques with a blowdryer and nothing helps. It’s probably not because of shampoo, so if anybody knows why does this happen, please let me know, that would help alot
