Hey yall! Happy to hear you're enjoying this episode! Some notes: (A) I'm no gun expert. So when things like P229s or whatever having no safeties show up in stories, it's cuz I have no idea, so it doesn't affect my judgement of the story when I'm doing my selection. (B) Yeah the first story sounds very made-up, but I thought it was pretty exciting, so I went with it.
Keep doing you darkness I loved all the stories. Im here to hear you tell scary stories I couldn’t care less about them being true or not or small details! Can’t wait for the next video!
That description sounds like someone trying be dramatic about the description but lacks the vocabulary to do it convincingly. Like someone saying "it was very very very very scary" when one adjective will do
If I carried on such a lucid conversation with my internal voice like the first story teller, I'd be just as worried about that as the deer/skinwalker stalking me.
I forget the percentage, but a lot of people have an internal voice that they “talk” to in their minds. I do. And most of us who have the voice can’t think in pictures. It’s pretty wild, but it’s normal. 😊
@@Spooky_PlatypusActually, those with Aphantasia such as yourself usually have Anauralia, an absence of an inner voice. I think it's in the high 80s % My sis has Aphantasia. So you are pretty unusual, in that small percentage of people with Aphantasia who also have the inner voice😊
Story 1 would've sounded more authentic if it was actually deer season. Nowhere in the lower 48 is hunting permitted during summer. There are special rules even on your own property. Two big reasons...fawns and heat ruins meat extremely quickly. I know someone is gonna comment the story isn't real anyway. I don't care if it is. Fiction or nonfiction, a story needs to make sense. If it doesn't it throws the whole story off.
Yea it’s totally fake but I’m here to listen to werewolf, skinwlker, and Bigfoot stories so I don’t really get caught up on the details as long as it narrates good. I literally listen to him tell a story about someone fist fighting a wendigo so yeah who cares lol
In germany we have deer hunting season rn it's always from april til may and august til january. (Haven’t listened to it saying where it played out yet) but yeah unfortunately it sounds fanfic-ish.
People do travel to go hunting but you're right. Hunting is a fall thing. 😮 And thankyou because I dont know much about hunting, learn something new everyday.
Story #4. I’m not a hunting expert but why would you use a 22. rifle to hunt wild hogs? I have a 22. rifle myself and it definitely can’t take down a wild hog🐗
I love the sound effects too! It gives extra dimension to the stories and it makes me feel as if I'm right there, participating in the actual events. 😳😱
It's a joke you oversensitive cry babies. Go by Walmart and pick up a personality and perhaps a sense of humor. We all have fuckin PTSD yah muppets. Everyone has suffered a traumatic event.
The first story has all of the very worst behaviors any hunter can show. after the first shooting of the deer, which he had a loud voice in his head to abort, twice more he shot something, and without even knowing what it actually was.
I really appreciated the werecoyote story! Btw, if you could somehow manage to rustle-up some stories involving home invasions by some of these various critters, it would be fantastic from multiple different standpoints!! Not necessarily all invasions, per se, but at least encounters that involve people at home. Thank you!😊
Pretty sure the OP said the house was condemned by the home owner with no fault of their own and that was why they were evicted. I assume you must've missed that part.
Werewolf and Feral Hogs - I mean, I know the legend is more associated with the neighboring state, Louisiana, but this sounds like Rougarou, right down to a reputed preference for hunting corralled animals.
Hi i must say this video is done well with the sounds in the back and all,😂i almost droped the milk of shock well done,i always like to listen at ur videos
Excellent video DP! Some of these are obviously BS, but I still truly enjoy your narration. 🙂 Thank you for all the hard work you put into these; it is greatly appreciated! Take care and be well!! 🙃🖤💫💀🐺🐗🦌
36:48 brother, you aren't killing a Feral Hog with a .22LR. Those things weigh as much as an adult male, and can take multiple rounds of 5.56. A .22 may injure it, but you'll need a couple hundred rounds to kill it.
I just listened this podcast while I work, and I was so zoomed in what I am doing, when suddenly the werewolf howling occurred in the video, I jumped up startled....Jeez....a heart attack...It sounded came from outside not from my headphones. 😵
Wow! The story was truly captivating and thrilling. Thank you to the author for providing such a scary yet fascinating experience. Wishing everyone a good night and sweet dreams!
Plus if a werewolf was snatching up hogs in less than three seconds then how is there even a hog problem in the first place. Werewolf should’ve taken care of em all
Story may or may not be bs, you spend enough time in the woods like I have you will see some weird s__t. I spent 5 years LIVING in the woods occupied by a very large hog population, and when you trap them you do put them down with a .22, something I've done countless times myself. So if you don't know what you're talking about, pipe down and let the man tell his story.......
ah absences of light this other world i visit every now and then like being away from my room entering some place that not every person would venture into got my dinner I'm all set .
Dear gun guys, I assure you, the rest of us do not care what kind of guns you use, and you can trip yourself up a LOT in your stories by writing in a wrong kind of gun that doesn't make sense in that situation. Please just say you grabbed a gun. We don't need to know the make and model and type of ammunition.
This so much. I kind of stop listening when the gun near-pornographic descriptions start, and sometimes have to back to find where the story continues, when I'm paying attention again. Just saying "pistol" or "rifle" or "shotgun" is enough detail for hunting stories.
Third story: "F, A and P." Le me: " ha FAP!"😂 god im such a child most of the time lol love ya DP and the prevail fam here much love and positive vibes to yall hede!!
Darkness or any darkness fan please help me!! There is this one story of his thats engraved in my memory and by far my favorite story he's told, it had something to do with one of the popular lakes and a "slimey sheep looking creature" coming up out of the water then after they were in the room and the thing wore his dogs skin and stole his brother. Please anyone help me:(
I believe I recognize that story. If it's the one I'm thinking of I thought it was a pond on their property not a lake. I believe they were sneaking out to swim at night. I also believe it was a skinwaker story but I can't be sure. I also don't know the name of the story but I remember it was very creepy, although I'm drawing a blank on the dog skin bit. I just remembered the brother went missing afterwards if I'm recalling correctly. It was a good story. Definitely one to keep you out of the water at night. Good luck in your hunt sorry I couldn't be of more help.
This person has NEVER been hunting, held a gun or been in the woods! My 10 year old knows more about the woods! Maybe at least take the hunters safety course! Or is this a girl with PTSD?
Does the grammar and Punctuation have any bearing on what story you use? I know lot's of people today don't use any punctuation in messages just wondering if they do the same cause it would be annoying to me like the way this sentence should of been broken up but you don't know where they wanted the sentence to end?
The first story just made me mad coz the guy just felt like one of those superior than thou kinda guys who gets killed in the beginnjng of horror movies for being a smart@ss. Like shut up and save yourself!!
You either have to be crazy or just really trust yourself to talk to yourself like the person in the first story... personally i don't believe that story but who knows... This is a strange world 😅😂
It sounded like a conversation between him and his intuition. It doesn't necessarily come through in words but as a feeling or thoughts . You know a "little voice in your head" that says don't go that way or tells you to double check something or someone. Like your conscience, like your own little Jiminy cricket lol. Although if you prefer the more strange, I first thought it was his dad talking to him. I know he mentioned how he taught him how to hunt. Don't ask but I just assumed he was no longer living and possibly could be trying to help him in a life threatening situation. But then again, I may just be crazy too lol.
