I have the utmost respect for Drupal developers - they master some really complex concepts and code to create amazing, attractive and advanced websites!
However, Drupal developers sometimes forget their basic site building skills and don't install some of the contributed modules that make a content editor's life really simple. (Honestly - I see this a LOT).
This mini-series of OSTips will focus on the contributed modules that give content editors some real advantages and make their lives a lot easier in maintaining their websites.

YES to Content Lock!! Crazy to me that 2 editors can be in a node at the same time. Thanks for your addition! - Rod

Do you know a way to schedule promotion? I don’t usually want to unpublish, but want to unpromote. Also, just looked at linkit is still beta and not updated for 1.5yr, do you still recommend?

sorry for the very late reply - yes to linkit! I use it on every site. I don't believe scheduler can unpromote - you can't even do that in workflows yet...

I wish something like Linkit was built into Joomla. Also, if both CMS's had an auto _archive?_ That way the content can still be searchable.

Hey Antonio... Gutenberg, as good as it is in WordPress will not be the future in Drupal. (See my video about Starshot). The community has decided to go with "the best of Layout Builder and the best of Paragraphs" to create the new Experience Builder. Check back in 10 - 12 months to see how they did :)
