big surprise but saying the first stupid shit that comes to your mind isn't comedy, don't get me wrong i like Antwon but those "memes" are just cringey
My shoe needs to have at least 5 SOLES attached to it so I can walk through ankle high water and look like a dad. AND A COLLAB WITH ANTONINI THE MEME QUEENIE? SICK video.
PSA: Penultimate means second to last, not super ultimate. Those olive accent AF1's are pretty tasty, and the spiral zipper on the Gaiter is really interesting. Nice to see you guys collab
Reebok Instapump Fury. Maybe the most techy with all the hexalite and pumpd and carbon fiber. Also the Reebok Furylites are a great option for a little sleeker look.
I literally just got the all black presto utility mids today. Very nice. A couple of kicks I think you left out, the sf af1, for that more military look. And the air lunar force duckboot version 1 that released a couple years back. The rubber toe box makes it waterproof, and they don't crease, I've worn them everyday for the past 3 months and they look fresh. It's a design feature I'd like to see used more.
Been following Antwon for a while, dude knows his stuff. I have a pair of Komyuters and they're great, especially for the price. Found a 'cool grey' colorway for air Presto Mid Ulitity which would look great in a techwear outfit. I might get a pair.
Only Nike?🤔 For me techwear equal Y-3. Definitely I’d add the X-ray zip, the Future zip High, the Kohna, the Noci 0003, and last but not least, the king of Urban ninja vibe, the Qasa! Also reebok! Reebok instapump Fury Ultraknit, the Supreme Pump, the Sock Runner Ultraknit... Adidas Tubular doom, NMD XR1 winter OMG, can’t name them all!😅
I’m a big fan of the new Air Huarache Drift and Air Huarache City. The Drift is a men’s shoe with customizable laces, while the City is a women’s sneaker that is all straps all the time. The City is also available in some excellent color ways, which makes me wish it was available in men’s sizes. I also like the Onitsuka Tiger Monte Creace, which is a retro take on the outdoor sneaker. It’s a bit minimalistic, which works well for an everyday casual tech look. It’s also extremely comfortable and slips on /off easily. Ideal for those long Tokyo walking commutes
Awesome shoes , these ACG Gaiters and the VMax utility I gotta have them!!! Good review on the Adidas seeul8r, definitely got that Japanese touch. Great collab with Antwon, u both have a fluid and direct expression. Yup, definitely, tech wear and that urban ninjas outfits are currently very trendy when it comes to street wear and daily use. Big 👍🏻
How do you find prestos or other related tech-wear shoes if you have size 15 feet? It seems impossible to find anything over (US) size 12 men techwear shoes.
Aren't the seeulaters' with the white straps for women? I think they're bomb and want one but I can't even find a male version of it anywhere online... But, I do have the White Mountaineering OD Alledo version of it, currently my favorite trekking around shoes!
Nike Air Presto Utility in the dark monochrome colourways like grey and olive is must for those techwear dudes on tight budget. You can find those on discounts at END.clothing website. Worth every penny spent!
I purchased the "burgundy" presto utility and I would not recommend if you have wide feet. The mesh has already torn along the outerside of the laces. Super comfortable shoe while it lasted the 3 days I wore them. Unfortunate for us wide feet fellows.
I own a pair of (non acronym) presto hi's and they comfy and one of my fave sneaks. Acronym is cool and i like alot of their stuff but that price point is YIKES. Also the KMTR is a great investment for yur feet. I own the blue ones and cant wait to get the black ones to make my cypher complete. CHEERs!
Almost any runner can work as a techwear sneaker. Being a black upper with a somewhat clay/bronze midsole, wearing earth tone pieces would be a suggestion. If you're ok with accessories get something to help match the shoes' color.
I think the adidas 5.10 mid pros should be more popular in the techwear scene, they've got good grip and look sleek, they're comfortable, they don't have a ton of colorways but the ones they offer look good, and I think overall they're great for my purposes as an intro techwear guy at least.
The Nike KMTR doesn't feel good. The ribbons inside push on your feet and while it's waterproof, its design is made that your socks are coming out on top so you definitely get wet there. Hightop would have made sense here.
Love this collab but maybe you could consider recording it together over video call and make it more of a discussion? I thought the transitions were a bit awkward 🤔
Unexpected but very appreciated collaboration. I feel like what you said about the utility mids is true. John Mayer had me wanting the Acronym ones so bad but I’m trying to flex on a budget.
It should be from Adidas' ZNE line, the ZNE 2.0 and Sports team associated hoodies are the ones that you might be looking for. Pretty affordable at $100.
