@@Joercgarage can you do a step by step on the installation of the brass i got the parts but have no idea how to install them so i can take it to Markham park
@@andresmarin1261 a step by step would be kind of long so I try to address the important stuff in the video most of the brass parts is just remove and add brass take it slow and use existing hardware and your going to be ok
Still torn for the next upgrade btwn going furitek brushless or the Holmes hobby 66t with low range gear set I would like to keep my pro scale light kit so leaning Holmes hobby thanks for the info👊🏻
Any problems with your stock servo after upgrades? I'm trying to figure out what I want to try to use as a replacement when mine goes. Ill bet the plastic gears go with the metal drive shafts. I can't seem to find OD/UD for it or metal crawling gears.
@@Joercgarage Right on! I ended up using an Eco power 640T to replace the stock one. Had to file a little to fit into my brass mount. Going to take it up to the track soon.
Best upgrade is a new lightweight body! Just keep the defender body for scale looks. The bronco body is waaaay better for crawling if you want a little balance between performance and scale
@@Joercgarage they can still perform great while looking crazy scale but just to eek out those hard lines 😈 Sometimes I just run mine without a body at all 🤷🏼♂️
What state is your park in? Wanting to have my city to build courses like this and a drag strip. Any advice would help me to approach the city council. Great video. I’m a new subscriber
Thanks for the support 👊🏻it’s in Florida to be honest I’m not sure how it works its my local park by me and I’m just happy it has a crawler course for my 1/10 and mini crawlers
Those are some awesome mods for this little rc, adding extra weight always a must to stay glued to the course, I'm all about the cosmetics for mine as cant afford all those fancy extras! Great video though!
I have done the same thing with the injora beedlock rims. But you can make the stock tires fit on them.if you cut the center ring down to 5/16 wide you will be able to lock the outer rims together.i wanted to save the tires from the bronco i had a spare set to mess with.they workd out well.looks grate what you have done so far.
So im new to the hobby, currently building a SCX24 Gladiator. I live like 15 minutes away from Markham Park! Thats a really great course ! Cool build maybe ill see you around there.
Nice upgrades I just did almost the same upgrades on my Defender M. I’m very happy with the Treal wheels. I have all red metal links & steering links. Also the diff covers the weight definitely helps it I just need to get the low gear motor trans combo. I pulled the scale stuff off the rear & placed it on top in the basket. I have the Injora sticky compound tires. So far so good.
