Sometimes I think it would be fascinating to live among other human species like some fantasy stories have elves and dwarfs and other races. But then I think about how horribly some people treat other Homo Sapiens of their own species, I would hate to even imagine how horribly people would treat the others when there are actual differences between the peoples.
I’ve been pretty well certain ever since the discovery of florensiensis (pretty sure I misspelled that, but w/e) that all of the elf/dwarf/leprechaun/etc. “little people” mythology from cultures around the world are likely remembrance in folklore of the time when we weren’t the only hominid roaming the world.
When i was in the Navy there was a seaman from Alaska they called Neanderthal. He looked just like one too. But he was a great guy. We should have more people like him on this earth.
Although your humour did give me a chuckle, you're not far off the actual truth. Although it is true that Homo Neanderthalis is indeed extinct, one could argue that in some respects it is alive and well. The "thousand genome project", which sampled a thousand random global genes; mapping the entire genomic sequences of these thousand samples, found that with the exception of some limited populations, a large portion of the planet's current human population have Neanderthalis DNA in them. More specifically, the genomic studies determined that in much of the worlds current populations, the section of the DNA double helix that is responsible for immune function, is directly inherited from Homo Neanderthalis, while the bulk of DNA double helix is inherited from Homo Sapien, and in some populations, Denisovan. Cheers ✌️
Thats exactly why many people hate camping. It's also why we need to get our corporate heads out of our arses and stop being so fake and unnatural at work
This comment is dumb af. Take away everything that makes us more advanced and yes... we would be more primitive again. Drive a car in reverse and yes... you will end up back where you started. SHOCKER.
Most of the "primitive" people we would be without our luxuries would die from lack of knowledge on how to survive like our hunting & gathering ancestors did.I can & most of my father's family can live that way but for city dwellers it would be an end when the stores ran out of supplies of any kind.
@mitchellculberson9336 Cool. Your family knows how to hunt. So does mine and I have an arsenal big enough to feed my family for years but you completely missed the point.
I hear you tho is it our trinkets that make us appear to be advanced? it strikes me that it's easy to see how primitive we are by just putting some pressure on someone, just give them a proper insult and most people freak out right into the fight flight or freeze response of the "primitive" animals. manners & sociale mores are a thin veneer over a primitive animal but we're raised to be too conceited to notice.
As others have stated it would be fascinating to see the “coexistence” of ourselves being Homo sapiens with some of these other species. Some of them perhaps less aggressive and threatening and others likely brutally so. Of course throughout human history it’s hard to think of a species more brutal and self destructive then ourselves.
but I think something is deeply wrong with our current evolution model, it seems the evolution happens only to our species, yes other species decreased in size or died out, but no other species evolved as much as we human, we control all the other species! It seems more something created us to with the sole purpose that we became the pinnacle of species! Or what's next? Ask a paleontologist if he expect a new species will evolve and take the lead? Otherwise it means the evolution is now over!
I'm kinda skeptical about discoveries from China . I also have questions about determining skin, hair and eye color from one example of thousands of years old DNA
the code won't tell you anything about epigenetic expression. DNA isn't all that stable so, like the op, I wonder how much damage the average archaeological samples of DNA have.
My money is on Homo Longi is the elusive Denisovan Skull we been waiting for and might’ve finally gave a proper scientific name to the Denisovan hominins.
Why do all the hominid reconstructions insist on putting human-sized eyes in much larger eye sockets? Big sockets means bigger eyeballs. yet almost nobody shows them this way.
yea. could be. I am of the opinion that the Aliens people have done an amazing amount of damage to the actual frontier of many sciences due to their absurd failure to understand Occam's Razer. What's more likely... that there have been members of the human family tree who possessed larger eyes (nocturnal or subterranian adaptions) or that humanoid extraterrestrials exist, have come here in person, and interfered with human development by making hybrids? @@ghiggs8389
Social scientists believe they are a race of scholars. Their desire for knowledge is so strong that they run to places of learning. Modern TVs are like oversized books. So it is a small evolutionary step from running with books to school to, running from police with TVs.
Simple, they were placed in a place much like an island except with doors that locked shut for too long, they just have to think "not going back, not going back" and the gift of nature so does its thing.
I binged watched several episodes to catch up on the latest Dark4 Ancient Mysteries and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing.
@@poindextertunes Gotcha. I thought it meant you excessively use quotation marks unnecessarily in order to mask a lame joke as ironic so as to deflect from your unsuccessful attempt at humor. Because of the embarrassment you experience when someone calls you out on your comedic failures so instead of answering with a witty comeback you just revert to cowering behind a self deprecating statement with easy mild shock value which you think has some intimidation value. "Or" "maybe" "you" "just" "suck"!
Yup, that's weird. Good thing some of us actually have an education, can read, spell, and know all of the facts. Unlike some who, in their arrogance and foolishness choose to believe a lie over the truth. Thanks for enlightening me!
I wonder if all that unnecessary music is why so many words in the transcript are misspelled and mispronounced. I know I have to guess what it is a lot
I don’t believe anyone migrated to the Americas, when Pangea or whatever they’re calling it now split there were people on each piece. They may have had to migrate to small islands like Hawaii etc but that is conjecture too.
@@Ghost2743 they have already claimed there were primates in North America millions of years ago but of course were no longer by the time we came along. Humans are not as ‘young’ as science said 50+ years ago when I was born. It keeps changing.
In irony the tribe in Europe far Eastern to be exact was wiped out in the middle to late 1700s this tribe were masters of metal working, lived semi underground, were miners and very short in natural stature from them it is believed the legends of such a people came from, all legend has truth.
they are NOT HUMANS.. they are not prehuman,.. they are not subhumans.. they arent HUMAN.. humans are only 15,000 years old BY DNA.. even neanderthals are only 2% related.. chimpanzees are closer relatives of neanderthals.. give me a break.. we have more dna in common with garden slugs
@@GlitterGothBunny He also said the oldest ID'd DNA in the Americas is 13,900 years old. There's 31,600 year old DNA from human teeth found in Beringia at the Yana Rhinoceros Horn site. Maybe he mixed the two up. Either way, it's wrong.
The date given for the first skull found, the broad nose that you mention and your interpretation that it would take in large volumes of air, would have be unnecessary, since there would have been at least 80% more Oxygen in our air at that time.
Fire your thumbnail artist immediately! Or teach him how to comb his hair with a 12gauge shotgun! What kind of moronic artist puts a LEFT HAND.......ON THE RIGHT ARM??? I've been seeing this a LOT in videos where the artists renditions that have hands flipped around backwards or on the wrong side or the fingers of one hand are bent the wrong way, is this some AI bullshit?
how many people out there think a species can all the sudden change what its species is? or can give birth and its offspring be different species? or a species evolving from another species?
