Yes, but a better way to do the post it notes one would be to take the first note off before you even start, write "up" on the back of the first note, than stick it back on. Then when you write on it you write "down", then when you open that one you just show them the side with whichever they picked. Also that way it doesn't even have to be up or down it could be any two things of which they only have two choices, red or blue, front or back, day or night, etc.
