Fun story. When a friend of mine (who introduced me to the Doctor) told me about the Angels, my first comment was: "So kinda like the Boos from Mario?" And she said: "That's... actually kinda fitting." Do we have to be afraid of Boos now?

The only way to stop an angel is to make them look at one another. Because then they will be permanently quantum locked. So if you put a mirror in front of an angel, they would technically be quantum locked until the mirror is moved . So put it in front of a mirror permanently

thehunterzz456 time of angels watch that and the doctor says that line also he means that if you see any statues or images of a statue (s) it will be considered an angel and will move if out of sight. even when it is a picture, video or even recordings.

You could probably make an excellent horror survival games based on the Weeping Angels. Complete with intricate puzzles, lightswitches and a co-op mode were you have to take turns with one player trying to keep his eye on the angels (who will try to mess with the lights and move around) while the other player tries to find the solution to the way out.

There's one near the end of Batman Arkham Knight, where you play as the joker in a grave yard type place. Then batman statues come after you in the weeping angle style, you have a shotgun so you turn around and shoot them but they surround you and then you get jump scared by the actual batman!...😄

BEST VILLIAN EVER. And now that I think of it it would make sense for them to be in these places. The Doctor being around whenever a single weeping angel is around is way to convenient, even by time travel standards

This is make me remember of the game we used to play as a child with our friend One friend will Stand facing the wall and he/she cant look back and he will say statue letter by letter and when he finish he will look back during that time if anyone moves the person will replace the person standing at the wall and if no one moved he/she will say statue again during that time we can move slowly and if we managed to move close and if we touch him we will restart and if he touch us before we can touch him we will be the one facing the wall.I know it sounds boring but it was fun during the good ol' times.

AWESOME!! :D So glad someone made a video about this! HOLY CRAP, Witcher 3, Call of Duty Black Ops III and Dishonored are utterly terrifying!! Especially the last two, whilst Witcher 3 is extremely creeepuy!! :O I didn't get why Just Cause was on here the first time, until I relooked and saw a couple of the statues move down the steps towards the protagonist!!! :O Holy crap this is awesome, and geez some of those moments were truly terrifying to a point that's worthy of the Weeping Angels! :O

I still remember the first rime i watched the weeping angels on dr who, didnt sleep at night, they are pretty original and creppy, definitly one of the best monsters of all times, probaly the scariest part was in the part 1 when the angel said to the dr. At the radio that he killed a guard to then take his vocal cords to speak, i didnt feel relaxed but neither scared, i just felt a shacking sensation for 1 sec

In Skyrim, when you first enter Sovngarde there are several statues facing you. If you move away but not looking at them, when you look at them again you will see they have turned to face you.

The one with the manequin robots kinda reminded more of the robots from the Dr. Who episode where they go to that pleasure planet and Amy winds up in a different time phase so like 10 minutes later she's older, wearing armor and wielding a katana.

The end of Batman: Arkham Knight has a similar nod to the Weeping Angels. During Joker’s final nightmare, there’s a part where numerous Batman statues “follow” him.

There was one in Dying Light: The Following, maybe unintentional - when you go to the kindergarten basement (I think), you first have to go to the room with power switch to disable it, because of the loose wire in the water. When you turn the power off, the lights go off too, and when you turn around with your flashlight on, and exit the room, you bump into the statue of angel. It doesn't move and you can see it when going in, but I rushed a bit and missed it, so I got a big scare down there. I loved it though. :-D

There is also an Easter egg in Skyrim when you go to Sovngarde, if you look away from the statues surrounding you and then look back, they will be facing you.

And both condemned games... there's a level on each one of the games where you're in some kind of doll factory or a hardware store and if you're walking through a hallway there might be some mannequins and then when you turn around there right behind you

Oh there is one in hitman for the robot mission, in one secluded corner, you look up at a robot standing in the building and he tilts his head very slowly to you and when he looks at you, turn left and you will see a robot waising its hands like a angel at you, which is suprisingly scary cause the robots should not be leaving the building.

Also in Skyrim. Console search "Weeping Daedra" and spawn one. You can't kill it head on. You have to either do a backward power attack or Area of effect spell.

In the game The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 You have to trick The Red Pirate to give you the compass. Since he turn his friends into stone you use, and item that will freeze time, and you make the stone statues move , and drive him insane. Then you will earn the trophy " Don't Blink" obtain the Red Pirates's compass.
