“Never rest on a lead”, and play the full 80 should be on every teams tip sheet when they play Nathan Cleary. The second you try to protect a lead, they’ll never stop coming. You’ve got to be assertive and aggressive for the full 80 to beat them
Diving on a player after he has scored, or sliding in with your knees, or kicking with your foot should be automatic send off. Happens all the time, and in these incidents the grub generally has no chance of stopping the try.
The Panthers have lost games with their Origin stars in the team & they’ve lost games without them. NO side is unbeatable, no matter how many times they’ve won the comp… But that’s just my opinion.😮
@@manmountain3205 … I’m well aware of that but they are beatable… But to do it, teams must play literally several levels above their normal style in order to do so.
@@farrazaed … Exactly right 👍😁. How many times this season alone have we seen the heavily backed favourites lose against teams given next to no chance of winning??? NO team (yes, even Penrith) can ever afford to underestimate their opponents because if they give them even “a sniff” of victory… They could spring a surprise & leave the “favourites” looking quite ordinary 🤭🤭🤭
The anti Melbourne bias is crazy, only team to have beaten riff and chooks this year and don’t have Munster, coates, nas, Welch, or a fully fit grant right now. I know nsw won origin but you guys can chill 😂😂
There is the mindset, that every team who plays the Panthers, ups their game accordingly because they want to beat the team with the 3 peat. And the Panthers very well know they are in a game most times. At full strength, Penrith are a shoe in to win 4 in a row.
The kicking aspect of the modern game makes it pretty boring to watch, don’t bother much anymore. I do wonder if the spectacle could be enhanced were the receiver required to catch the ball or regain possession before a suitable distance from the try line?
