5 Perfumes I LOVE But My Boyfriend HATES..😒

My sister in law used to wear Tresor from Lancôme and I absolutely abhorred it. It was her birthday and I got her a bottle of it because she would say she ran out. My brother also bought her a bottle of it. And then we find out years and years later she didn’t like it and thought my brother liked it on her. He didn’t. We all thought it was headache inducing. Lol.

I can relate to Anthony on how a scent memory can spoil a fragrance experience. I can't enjoy BR 540 because something about it reminds me of the shoe polish I used while getting ready in primary school.

I find it interesting he said Metallique smells like an olive & pepper pizza. I grew up chewing on coins. (Bad habit, I know.) Needless to say, by the time I stopped, I’d grown very familiar with how nickels and dimes taste. Something about olives (especially black olives) taste metallic to me. This is the first time I’ve seen someone else make that association, just with smell instead of taste.

Never they were boyfriend/girlfriend 🥰 but I always saw the chemistry ,now I see why loll so cute.I remember the first time I hated a perfume that my hubby was wearing,and he ask me if I was ok,because I was the one that bought it,and that’s how we found out that I was pregnant 😂😂😂😂!

When you feel like a Goddess but all he can smell is a banana flavoured antibiotic 😂 You guys cracked me up!

I never really understood what cloying smelled like until I smelled Flower, and the longer it's on the worse it gets. BUT Hypnose is one of the most beautiful perfumes I've ever smelled, created by a legendary nose Sophia Grosjman. I only wear perfume that I love. I don't care about compliments because most people have crappy taste in food, clothing and perfume. You wear that perfume girl!

I completely agree about Hypnose. For me, the opening is SUPER nice, but the dry-down makes me feel like an old person. It's no offense to old people, but rather, it's simply not my age? Ylang in Gold also has potential but THAT one smells like glue to me...with flowers. And a beautiful bottle and sparkly liquid. I REALLY like Metallique! It's pretty and clean without smelling plain. It's very pretty. I have no idea where you are getting the pizza smell. 🤣 🤣 🤣 I'm smelling it on my coat right now and I do not get that.

My fiancé dislikes probably 75% of my collection lol. And he’s vocal about it. I wear all of my perfumes anyway though whether he likes them or not- if I like how something smells that’s all I care about! He doesn’t like any of my Narcisos, Pure Poison, Prada La Femme, Cloud, Libre, Versace Crystal Noir, Love Don’t Be Shy, Delina… I think his nose is just broken 🤷🏼‍♀️

Great video. I love the energy between you & your boyfriend. The scent I dislike in any fragrance is that “playdo” “plastic Barbie head” scent. Also don’t care for “rose” scent unless it’s extremely well blended.

Killian's "back to black" smelled rather good the first time I put my nose on it. But the second time it evoqued furniture wax, the one you use to renovate it. I'm surprised that he does'nt like hypnose..To me it smells very similar to Armani Code which I know that he loves..I have over 200 perfumes in my collection and I must say that both of these are my top 2 most complimented fragrances from both men and women along with Mojave Ghost..Love your channel!

You must try Les Secrets Magie Noire by Lancome. This is the most unique scent I've smelled. This was my mom's signature scent for decades until she switched to more fresh scents. I currently own it and loooove it.

I agree with him on all of the fragrances, but not for hypnose. Lancôme did the magic in that parfume it is really good. I always got compliments whenever I wear it. 🥰

Quite the opposite happened to me. I blind bought ADP Colonia Oud and when I first tried it, to me it came accross as a dirty, moldy rose stuck in a book that hadn't seen any sort of light or fresh air since the War of 1812, doused with a ton of citrus to try and drown it out. And then she smelled it and went absolutely into "come hither" mode. 😏 Suffice to say that that one is exclusively reserved now for the bedroom activities. 😌

I revisited J’Adore, which I gave away years ago, but after Anthony’s rave about it I repurchased a 15 ml bottle. Great I was timid with the purchase: I find it as boring as ever. On the other hand, wasn’t Decadence chopped up like it’s chopped liver? It’s one of my faves out there. Someone’s owl is another ones nightingale. Thoroughly enjoy your channel!

I love Metallique. But to me it's a quite easy scent. Fresh vanilla, sweet and aldehydic without being outdated. An easy wear for me, nothing strange ..

Everytime I wear my Chloe Nomade, I remember how Anthony said in a previous video ot smells like sweaty armpits...But to me it's so fresh and uplifting for the springtime and now I wear it a lot...

You have a new perfume and you find the fragrance fantastic, but others unfortunately not at all. I once had a date and wore my beloved Versace Dylan Blue. But my date found the fragrance not that great and said that I smell like a rancid Catholic church. Something is broken inside me. Since then, I'm always a little anxious when I apply Dylan Blue.

Flower by Kenzo is challenging. It’s cheap-powdery, and the fresher floral facets are so vegetal, it smells like cut flower stems. It goes pretty sour in the heat too. Maybe it does better in the cold, but we’ll never know because it’s marketed for spring/summer.

Have you ever tried rock princess by Vera wang? Although Veras stuff usually gives me teen vibes and is pretty well known that version is on a whole other level and always flys off the shelves. Love your vids! Can’t wait to see more

I love Andrea's defensive passion :D And really Flower by Kenzo is really really nice with great longevity. Everytime I smell it in a room projecting of my GF's clothes I think "What a nice scent!". And powderiness is not what this scent reminds me of. So Andrea, wear this fragrance anytime you want to. It's great and you know it the whole time :D

Yes! I love Hypnose! But men don't like it for some reason. I get tons of compliments when I wear it but mostly from other women. lol I still love it! and think it's a seductive classy sophisticated slightly spicy fragrance. Men never seem to like it at all for some reason!

I've had Kenzo Flower for like idk 10-15 years (same bottle) and used to hate it but I broke it out recently and its actually nicer than I remember. It used to make me think of old lipstick.

I love Metallique! Luckily for me my partner loves this one too. I just smelled my bottle again and thankfully I don’t get the pizza smell 🤣🤣 I recently sold Cruz del Sur II (sad day) because my partner just despised it, so I just didn’t reach for it much.

I always love your videos 🥰 My husband and I often have different taste in fragrances, but I do try to find some that we both love which can be a challenge sometimes 😅 I totally get strong dill pickle in Santal 33.. and I even tried the Zara dupe, “Energetically New York” and I still get dill pickles 🥒😭 lol but I get the experience of the sexy sandalwood that I wish I got from Santal 33, from Gap Om. (and since Om is a fraction of the price I’ll stick with that!) 😁 Hypnose smells to me like cherry Trident chewing gum! And as far as Metallique, I get a clear scent memory as well, but for me it’s doing the dishes when I was a kid, and washing the silverware and metal pans in the soapy bubbles of sunlight dish detergent. 😌 sorry for such a long comment, I could talk about fragrances forever! Lol Well my husband is away for the day and he won’t be home until the late ferry, so my scent of the day will be something that he doesn’t like! 😂😂😂

Ylang in Gold is beautiful although Dama Bianca has something very similar to me. Maybe he’ll enjoy that one! I also get nail polish vibes actually nail polish remover in both but that’s why I love them . That nail polish remover vibe with vanilla! 👌

Oh, I totally agree re powdery scents and Hypnose. My ex used to buy me the same perfumes he bought his mum 🫣 Hypnose was one of them. I picked up on the red flag and ran for my life 🤣 For that reason I cannot smell Hypnose & also Pleasures by Estee Lauder.

I agree about the Santal 33. I don't really care for any Le Labo fragrances for a person...but, yeah, maybe as a room spray or on linens.

Agree with Anthony on Santal. I love the smell, but I love it as a home fragrance (oil for my diffuser), not as a perfume/cologne.

I love-love-love Bois du Portugal and my wife hates it. I will only wear it to work so she won't have to smell it too much. It's tough because I would actually want BdP to be my signature scent but alas I can't. Love can make one make odd choices.

Interesting topic.. As a guy I hate excessive powdery too (Can't stand Dior Homme 2012) but honestly, combined with the right stuff it does smell good on ladies. I disagree about hypnose, I like it. Not so sure about Santal 33. Metalique smells like blood and stainless, it is unique but I don't care much for it. Not familiar with Ylang in Gold, usually I love Micallef. I actually can relate to that. Years ago I was wearing Terre D'Hermes which I love, I got very negative feedback from my 2 best friends.. But that didn't keep me from enjoying it, I do refrain from over spraying it though.

My husband is the same with powder. And I get it. I’m not a huge powder fan, however his definition of “powdery” is very different from mine. ALSO, he says that a lot of things smell powdery to him that don’t smell at all like powdery to me. It’s so freaking frustrating!!!
