I wouldn't reccomend Vector anymore. The servers have been offline since July. The old company Anki went bankrupt and the current company DDL is swimming in fraudulent activity
I have an EMO and it's so dumb. I can speak clearly to it in American English and it only understands half the time. The only upside is that it walks around instead of driving around the house mapping it for Amazon or whatever. Also it should have came with a charger where it can self charge instead of having to put the thing on a skateboard every 10 minutes. The whole experience is this janky, lame, and barely functional experience that is the embodiment of "Made in China". There's nothing cool or unique about it.
We had a Cozmo then a Vectra, both a waste of space and money, the Company behind them seems to have gone bust, still takes your DD every year though unless you stop it !. What about Amazon's Astro or Samsung's Bally ? surely these are light years ahead of the pack
Awful thing to waste money on this stuff that will invade your provacy with two way microphones and cameras and also further open the chasm between human relationships and contribute to greater isolation.
