I hate giving people bad news, but you're not related to the ancient Egyptians. The ancient Egyptians were closely related biologically and ethnically to the _Cushitic_ or _Hamitic_ population from the Horn of Africa! That is a scientific fact demonstrated by varying methods of anthropological analysis; be it linguistic, ethnological, or anatomical. The chance that you have any relation to Predynastic Naqada Egyptians, Dynastic Egyptians, or even Late Period Egyptians is pretty slim to none. Also, don't bother referencing the Max Planck 2017 study either, I'll save you some time. The study does not factor in things like migration patterns, population displacement, dispossession, ethnological changes, linguistic change, genetic drift, archaeological interpretation, etc. The study also makes no mention of any kind of collaboration between specialist in different fields of anthropology, so there is a lot not being discussed or included in this genetic study. Stop calling it your culture, it's not yours.

Wow it’s amazing that even the Somali language has such words exactly and they’ve the same meaning . Babay we say ‘Nune ‘with long voeel U sound . Then Walk for child we say ‘’daadah’’ which has even gone to our Literature and romantic song . Look at this stanza, “ Ahlan wasahlan Dahir (Dahir is the guy’s name) aan is daadeheynee Daahir ” meaning welcome Deqa so that we can hold together and toddle around.

@Masry S.A Cushitic isn’t a language but another distinct branch of the Afroasiatic language family like Ancient Egyptian. Somali and Oromo are prominent members. While I agree with you that AE isn’t a Cushitic language, in the distant past there may have been more mutual intelligibility between the languages. Ancient Egypt used to trade extensively with the land of Punt which we now know is in modern Somalia.

Fobos From Ancient Greek Φόβος (Phóbos), from φόβος (phóbos, “fear”) In Greek mythology, Fear is the personification of fear. The ancient Greeks considered him the son of Mars and Aphrodite. Together with his brother Deimos, who was the personification of terror, he accompanied his father in the wars. In the Iliad, (HOMER), Fear as a person is mentioned in verses D 440, N 299 and O 119. I suppose that you Egyptians also have an "ancient Egyptians accent" because Moroccans, Algerians, Libyans and Tunisians still speak Arabic with a Amazigh accent. Their Arabic sounds like Amazigh and North African Arabic got also influenced by their native language, also grammatically. Egyptian Arabic got also hardcore influenced by the native Egyptian language.

yes very true - Egyptian is influenced a lot by early Egyptian languages (ancient Egyptian then Coptic)

In Slovak language, we say ňuňu (njunju) to a baby or a beloved pet, when we cuddle them. Sometimes we "cuddle" them just by saying ňuňu, when we cannot touch them (not to wake them, or their are not our kids/pets, but they are cute... :D ). Eg. you see a baby in a stroller, you can lean and say something like "oh, ňuňu, you are so cute"... I don't know, if nunu in your language is used in the same way, as it was not specified in the video. I don't know if there is a connection, but I doubt that. We also say ťuťu (tjutju) sometimes, instead of ňuňu. :D

@@Linguamid actually we have a lot of common words but it could be due to several reasons. As mentioned trade, which we know existed and Somalia was Punt (God's Land) and supplied frankincenses and myrrh. Also because both belong to Afroasiatic languages so not all words disappeared. Other words called qorah (sun) but in Somali X represents ح, so it's actually qorax. Qor means neck and Rax is the proper pronunciation as you know and not Western "Ra or Rah" So it means sun = neck of Rax Aar - lion Webi = hebi = river Dayax = moon, Ancient Egyptian say a'yax Huuno = siblings/brother/sister Huuno is related to Nuno Can't remember them all but let me know

@@originsandcivilizations3983 The ancient Egyptians were purely Hamitic, there was no Mediterranean component in the ancient Egyptian population whatsoever What Carleton S.C**n and scholars like him were attempting to do was attribute Egyptian civilization as having been the achievement of Caucasians, because the predominant view of the time, and still is somewhat, was that blacks were incapable of having built an advanced civilization comparable to Greeks and Romans in Europe. However, like I tell everyone, genome analysis is of no use when studying ethnography or cultural phenomena, and the ancient Egyptian culture was inherently African. Ethnographers study the psychological and social behaviors of particular groups of people, but can also compare cultures to determine whether or not they have a common origin. Ancient Egyptians, many of their customs, beliefs, and traditions are analogous to those of people further south of Egypt, sub-Saharan Africa basically. Many ancient Egyptian headdresses for example, like the _Atef_ crown which was ornate with ostrich feathers is similar to many of the headdresses worn by African peoples of the Great Lakes region like the Luluaba people of lake Tanganyika, or the Maasai. Children were given special hairstyles in ancient Egypt, symbolic of their youth. In much of east Africa young African children are given similar hairstyles, the Tuareg, Agau, Afar, Hororo, and Maasai are just a few of the tribes that have preserved this custom. Material culture in ancient Egypt is also very similar to material culture in sub-Saharan Africa, headrest _(weres)_ as the Egyptians called it was used as an amulet or a pillow: similar objects are known to the Turkana, and people of the Great Lakes region, not ancient Mediterranean or Indo-European peoples. Beliefs in more than one soul, or multiple souls is something both the ancient Egyptians and sub-Saharan Africans have in common. The Egyptians believed every man had a Ba, Ka, Shadow _(swt),_ Ren, heart-soul _(jb),_ etc. Similar ideas and beliefs have been acknowledged to be held by many sub-Saharan African peoples, according to Ethnographers like Emil Torday and Thomas Athol Joyce, and Scholars like E.A.Wallis Budge. Paul Schebesta according to C.G.Seligman studied the pygmies of the Ituri forest, the pygmies veneration of totem animals, believed to be ancestors, was a belief of Predynastic Egyptians as well. Historian Odd Arne Westad on p.61 Penguin Classics History of the World, on the Ancient Egyptians. _"They lived in villages grouped around market centers, and seemed to have had animals as symbols or totems: these they copied on their pottery."_ Culturally nothing seems to trace the Egyptians back to the ancient Near East or the Mediterranean. Unless you have proof to the contrary, their biological origins more than likely started in sub-Saharan African.

Thanks Hamid. I'm not an ancient Egyptian specialist. But I don't think the term Pharaonic or Hieroglyphic is the accurate term. Based on my knowledge, it should be Ancient Egyptian words or expressions. Hieroglyphic and Demotic are just writing forms in Ancient Egyptian language, not the language itself. Regards

One correction my friend. The word ΦΟΒΟΣ has its roots in protohellenic wich is around 3000bc and the root ΦΑ= FA is directly linked withe word ΦΑΟΣ(FAOS)-ΦΩΣ(FOS) = light hence the word ΦΑΡΟΣ(FAROS) =lighthouse (the A and the long O= ΩΜΕΓΑ O with open ends hence a longer vowel shortenting the word FAOS to FOS albeit with a longer pronounciation of the letter O) . So it is extremely unlikely to link bobos with fovos . Every ancient greek word has a meaning that derives its root from the syllables and the connecting words. So that is a mistake there most likely or misinformation. Otherwise the video is extremely interesting and it is nice that old egyptians words continue to this day.

Somali have the closest linguistics to Egyptian closer to it then Egyptian Coptic or anything as well as it being 3000 older then Arabic n is older then hebrew Aramaic etc n in fact even the word pharaoh in the wuran is firoun which is two words fir and oun the great house and of the everlasting in somali why would the wuran gods book use a Somali group of words to say phaorah ? When it corrected the bible instead of using the word pharaoh in pharaonic times in Egypt it used king which was accurate and pharaonic when it was pharaonic clearly show its origin

Thank you first of all But there is an objection as That's not Arabic ( understanding of the grown-up peoolwatching Eg drama & movies not related as it's a different story ) It's the modern Egyptian langague & it's a total independent lanangue which has its own grammar that is totally very far of Arabic. The lexical similarity between both not because Arabic gives to Eg only but initially in old times before New original Eg gives lots to Ar lanagague in 1- old trade 2- expansion of Tohtmos III togther with writing scripts & alphapete 3- the exudos of Hyksos that part went to Peninsula 5- the exudos of sons of Israel going to Levant before the creation of Hebrew lanagague and the langague gotten from Egypt contributes in both new born Hebrew & that branch of Arabic lanagague combined with other lines later on Plus some other routes in old times + newer ( large topic to explain in here. Between modern Egyptian & Arabic there is something internationally known as ( the big range of common vocabulary) which is existing already in vocabulary lexal similarity in a higher ratio than our case in middle east such as ( German - Dutch 84% ) ( urdu - Indian 100% ) ( Dari - Farsi 90% ) and so so many And the you can say it's a very common concept across the lanagagues. Why it's not a dialect ? 1- all the vocabulary of Egyptian lanaggue can't be used in official Arabic writing ( unless it's given in early centuries of combination. Such as ( esma3 ( eg ) yasma3 ( Ar ) - eshma3 ( Hebrew ) ) 2- It has the same or closer structure of original Egyptian lanague 3- Sounds ( vowels and consonants ) of Egyptian lanaggues are ( 31 ) aside of sounds in Arabic not pronounced in modern Eg . Which are ( 5 )( all of them are consonants ) Even Arabic alphate can't express exactly the sounds of Egyptians langagues ( all in vowels ) Which needs it's own alphapete. Thank you
