Great video as always Miguel. I have a question about the monitor: how was the factory calibration, and their calibration software if you went through it? Also, when is the final set up for the studio 😁?
What's the difference of frequency separation from just using a smart sharpen adjustment layer or filter on a smart object? I just find it hard to remember the settings and the order of layers. I guess I still need YT for my future projects?
Thanks for the tips, Miguel! I tend to use apply image (multiply blending) to create a mask for my highlights. Very effective :) P.S. I am yet to learn how to utilise luminosity masks properly.
Thanks! As for the curved monitor comment, why would you think that is? I'm using it now and there's no issues that I've run into. Being able to have multiple windows open while I'm retouching with such a high quality monitor has been awesome!
@@MiguelQuilesJr a flat ultrawide monitor would be a better option for that in my opinion. Curved screens can be misleading when it comes to correct distortion, leading lines, using the liquify tool in a portrait, etc
Click on the settings (gear) icon, and change the playback speed to a slower speed. You can always pause and replay parts of the video so you can follow along a little easier.
@@MiguelQuilesJr yeah, I know but it would be more pleasing for audience. if you edited this vdo like It don't need any pause / slow speed playback or anykind. For this kind of tutorial, I suggest you could try watch some work of @piximperfect channel. anyway. Thanks for sharing your trick.
