Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet are like Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny, everyone is always saying how Charbonnet will get more work which causes a downgrade for Walker the way Carson was downgraded year after year. Yet every year Carson was the better back getting most of the work.
it's like they never learn their lesson with some backs. Walker is, objectively, a better back than Charbonnet. Walker is a potential TD every play. Why would they take him off the field for Charbonnet?
Good comparison. Each situation is different and really just depends on the talent of the "backup". Personally I like more explosive guys as bets to overtake the starting role vs the "3-down" types who haven't yet shown to be starter caliber, like Charbonet. Gimme Mitchell or McLaughlin.
Different coaching. Ravens loved their grinding back who picked up what was available and he just came from there, and if walker gets hurt he's to the moon
Hey Guys, great video. We keep on hearing how great Seattle's offense is expected to me. I don't think we are diving into how bad their OL is going to be. We all know bad OL are difficult to over come. If Geno has no time for the deep pass and they can not run the ball then it is a problem.
My debate this year is drafting between Kyler and waiting another 1-2 rounds for Jayden Daniels. All reports out of camp are like "holy hell, jayden is unreal" kind of vibe. That said, Kyler has done it before, just gonna depend on who falls to you around round 8
most underrated offenses this year are TEN, Carolina, AZ. And sadly JJ, everything from seattle are ALL we love kenneth walker, including raving about his pass catching.
When do we get the Goats on the show?? Pat Mayo! Lord Reebs! Silva! Jim Nakagawa!! Emily Schuster!! Alex Baker! Mike "The Fantasy Hitman" Wright! Jeremy Manzona!! Troy Alufawae!! Warren Sharp!
Late to the Murray party, but does seem like he's going to have a big year. Best weapons he's had plus the rushing upside. Not a fan of 2nd rounders making "must draft" lists unless the conviction is he's the 13th rated players on the board. IE you would draft him at any point in the second round.
feel like Charb could be actually a zero. I understand the contingent upside but Walker is the guy and there's a chance charb does nothing if walker stays healthy all year
@@aarondeatherage7678 this is why you turn on the tape and pay attention to the situations. Football is not a sport that you can play exclusively by the numbers. We do this every year with backup RBs. Charbonnet is not better than Walker. That's just a fact. It's easy to look like a guy when you're just spelling the workhorse. Guarantee those numbers fall off with a full workload.
I heavily disagree with the Charbonnet as a Seahawks fan. Even if Walker gets hurt, there is a good chance that Charbonnet will still stay in his change of pace bruiser role. Kenny McIntosh has been killing it in the preseason and would most likely fill K9's HR hitter role. Charbs is essentially stuck in that bruiser role. McIntosh was hurt last year so people often forget we have him on roster.
I think the narrative that walker can’t/won’t get enough passing work is bunk. The Waldron/Carroll offense sucked. He’s shown at times he’s perfectly capable. And grubb has said he would use him in the passing game. He’s the starter, he’ll get 70% of touches. That’s what matters… lot of ppl who were all in on Charbs that are trying to force it to happen. Charbs is a great cuff. But walkers the guy.
I’m gonna tell you guys right now. Do not rely on waddle. I know these guys love his metrics. But I had him last year and I watch the Miami games and every freakin game that hill played they fed hill and it was crickets for waddle. I’ll never forget what I watched. If I can get waddle for value I’ll do it, but you are mistaken if you think it’s not Hills and hills only offense.
need some help. 1QB 14 team PPR TEP 0.5 Got offered: 1.02 (Nabers) + Kmet Give: 1.04 + 1.11 Have no TE at all, but need some depth all around. I am a contender, and know Rome will fall to 1.04 (Bowers is locked at 1.03) and the 1.11 could land a BTJ, Worthy, Ladd player. How far apart are we having Nabers to Rome? Rome has that QB locked in which has me worried about Nabers. But do I go up and get Nabers if I can or sit with Rome + 1.11 and go get a Dulcich/Henry type TE
If you truly fancy yourself a contender I think you should make that trade. Nabers is a monster and will produce with any qb/offense to a certain degree off opportunities alone. Could be a top 10 wr as early as Week 1. Hypothetically Odunze and Thomas in this example have a ways to go to reach Nabers fantasy capacity, as they're contending with Davis/Kirk and Keenan/DJ respectively. Kmet is solid. Good luck.
@@FantasySportsZen fair out look. Now you have confused me again hahah. My only concern is my lack of depth if injury strikes. I have a strong lineup, but lack depth if any injury hits. I have pondering to do haha
“The higher drafted rookie wrs are the ones that can give you a year changing season”….when. When has a first second or third round wr as a rookie even had 1,000 yards and 5 tds compared to later veterans who are proven to have higher floors than that? You can count them on one hand for entire history of the nfl. Ha. RBs? More likely to be worth it snd still wash out more often than they don’t. Smh. Nabers can be the next Larry fitz or Hopkins…he’s not a first or second round pick. He’s on a crap team w a crap qb and unless he gets 110 catches in full ppr he’ll be a losing pick you’ll regret. Just don’t understand what some fantasy dudes are smoking. But I’d like some.
@@lateroundff you tried to call Kenneth Walker a practice guy lol. We've literally seen him be amazing in games. Why would you say he's just good in practice?
@@davuhn2 that was the wildest ish I've heard today lol. Like he's not just objectively better than charbonnet. When fantasy pros say stuff like this I have a hard time taking them serious
@@davuhn2 Think you misunderstood what I was saying. I'm not saying he's only good in practice. I'm saying his archetype is one that looks great in practices. We see it all the time with explosive players. His explosion converts, though! (And there was a nice item about his pass-catching yesterday, so I'm moving him on up.)
@@BenHaskellFF He was. This is typical. Backup rb gets a quarter of the work as the main guy thus his numbers look better because he isnt geting slammed into the line on 3rd and 1 or late in the game when the team is grinding the clock. Then fantasy pros try to extrapolate his numbers to a full workload and swear the backup can compete with the starter. It's silly
ff people have been hyping charbs for the past two years and he hasn't provided any fantasy value but they keep beating the horse. sure, if k9 gets hurt but otherwise he's a place holder of little value in ff.
There isn't for fantasy purposes. Drake London is a projection whose ceiling is dependent on a 35 yo QB being close to 100% after a ruptured Achilles. Much more volatile range of outcomes than Waddle
Fantasy football analysis is like weather men. Can be wrong 80% of the time and still have a job. No other job can you be more wrong then right and still have a job lol.
