You’ve got a misunderstanding of the McGroaty situation. The fact is Rutger and his agent, (and probably parents to a lesser extent) feel he should be given a guaranteed NHL roster spot. Whereas the Jets dev plan for most of, if not all its players, is to spend time at the AHL level. The understanding at this point is everyone in his camp, including himself, doesn’t want to do that. So he chose to stay at Michigan, rather than start to streamline his career towards starting in the NHL in maybe two years, he’s gambling on himself being a big fish in a small pond and staking claim on how his dev plan goes.
I love to see Robertson go to a team like Dallas play with his brother would fit probably in that top 9 somewhere now since pavelski is retiring give him either robo and roope to play with or duchene and marchment I bet he would do great and I would love to see rutger go to like stl and be a future star with there prospects
@@TheFaceoffyt It is and when I posted that I was maybe too harsh. But fact is that he hasn't lived up to hype at all and is borderline bust. But saying that he's not NHL player was kinda stupid. He's still young and with work there's every possibility that he's going to be solid third or fourth line guy. He's on same boat with guys like Zadina, Puljujärvi, Turcotte, Kotkaniemi.
@@tygod2410 Puljujärvi played in my favourite team Oulun Kärpät his junior years before draft and north America. Yes he's bust but I still like him. Positive guy who's very talented. Maybe not in NHL level but still very talented ice hockey player. Hopefully he will have great career.
