Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have always loved to play my guitar and harmonica and sing but I struggle so much with how to record.
Thank you so much for this ☺️ it really does inspire me to keep going and I appreciate it a lot. I try my best to teach folks in an easy and understandable way. Nothing complicated just how people normally talk. I find that works best with most people. So I go with it!
Normally I dont watch music tutorials that are longer than 20 minutes but mann not only was this really informative but it was also entertaining!! Good job!
Wow I’m usually too impatient for certain tutorials but I find your pace and teaching style to work well with me 😄. Both hands-on and theory for us beginners. Thank you! New sub here 🤙🏾

Been following your logic stuff for awhile now, but love the fact that you've been incorporating vocal aspects of the making music. You also show by example, using your own voice ! This I believe puts you, your stuff into the top category. Nice work dude !

Hourly. Normally $50 per hour. Right now $30 per hour. And before you ask... no, I don’t know how long it will take. Each song is different. If you have a max budget let me know what it is and let me know how many songs you have and if it’s workable.
Seriously, I am a Berklee Student and this was so informative for this platform. Man, you are out here enriching the people. I liked, subscribed, as well as I turn on my notifications!!! Good work!!!!
Just recommended Berklee to another subscriber a few days ago hahaha dope. And glad to see how far the the content is reaching! I appreciate you for subbing and turning on notifications
Most plugins are good for vocals. What really makes the difference is the performance, what type of mic you choose for a particular voice and GOOD MIC PLACEMENT. This will vary from room to room, place to place. But in the end, if you suck at recording, no plugins will save you. A good take, is a take that requires nothing or almost nothing when it comes to processing. If you find yourself reaching for plugins all the time, then i would invest in learning how to record properly. You cannot polish a turd so to speak. Oh well, you can these days with all these new plugins doing all the work for us, though if you open them up and check how they actually work, you will see some algorithms that doesnt make any sense unless it is made to be somewhat of a scam. My point is, you guys do not need to spend alot of money on "high end" plugins. Yes, back in the days where they were doing this to really give some cool tools to composers/producers and whatnot, now the philosophy has changed, the most important thing now is just to sell most products. It is a bad trend, re packing old plugins, tweak them and make them a little less good, but with cooler interface and name, and voala, we buy it. The same goes for the microphone world. Bottom line is guys, you can achieve amazing results using only stock plugins, just make sure your recordings are tracked properly. IAMLXGEND, thx for walkthrough of what you use. I love it when people share their experiences and knowledge, and you seem to have both. Looking forward to follow your musical journey, you got yourself a sub from Oslo, Norway :) Cheers
Plugins still are great investments, even with already great recordings they can really give character to vocals that a mic and interface can’t do alone. But yea I agree. Source audio is very important. Greetings to Oslo. I was almost supposed to come there next month.
@@IAMLXGEND Yes 100 % agree, and I do have ALOT of stuff from waves myself. And just read through my comment, did not mean to come out negative, but english is not my native language. Wow really, let me know if you do visit Norway, I'll show you some cool places, and ofcourse, cold beer in the main studio :)
I loved this video. I have a few of these plugins and immediately used my discount to get a few more. Great advice. I was just planning on working on some vocal side chains this week to master how I prefer my vocals to sound on my recordings.
I'm so glad there are people like you that exsist and make this content. Ive just subscribed and cant wait for more tips and tricks on garageband. Its helped me a lot 😊 God Bless you ❤
I purchased the wave gold package and wouldn’t let me import plugins into GarageBand but it did work in logic. Can u do a vid on how to import them in GarageBand thx nice vid🌊 dope song
You don’t import them anywhere. You install and they’re already there. Any waves plugins you can’t use in Garageband but can in logic means they aren’t compatible with Garageband. I have this issue with debreath. It’s not a thing you do. The plugins are already there on installation.
Do you recommend these plugins for rap vocals and not singing? Ps. Found your channel last night and I’m so glad I did. Your content is amazing and educational. Thank you!!!
