Geeth Senaratne hi Geeth , Vancouver (main city) rent wise yes it’s expensive . Surrounding greater Vancouver (surrey , Delta, Richmond, Burnaby and new Westminster are little 200-300$ cheaper with better housing ) Vancouver has small homes . But like as I work in downtown it is 45 min drive if highway and streets are mild busy. Busy roads takes 1 hour 10 mins drive from delta to downtown. Food clothing and activities are adding as per your choice . I’m planning to shiftto Vancouver city Because vibe is different It has city vibe , beach and sea vibe , north Vancouver has mountains, gandola skyride , Vancouver has Granville island market from where I buy best farm fresh strawberry . Plus most important I believe me and my wife’s professional growth lies in Vancouver along with I lav sea . Ps : wherever you start to live first you start managing and sustaining expenses too ! I chose Vancouver BC despite everyone luring me to Toronto and Alberta . TC

I have a query and it would be awesome if you could help me. I have received my ITA, had a score of 471, am a Phd in psychology. I am the primary applucant and my 2 yr old daughter is my dependent. My husband is a serving officer in the army hence, he cannot accompany me nor can he apply for PR for at least the next 6 years. At the time of my application submission, i was asked to give PCC as well as medical for him as well which i cannot give dye to army rules and regulations. I had given a call to the IRCC helpline services and explained my case. They then told me to write a detailed letter of explanation explaining why i cannot give his posting details/pcc and medical. I have given my husband’s salary slips, itr, pan card, passport details etc and mentioned everything in the letter of explanation. My question is, is there something that i ave missed? Or is there anything that i need to add to it and the helpline ppl missed telling me abt? Do u know of similar cases? He is not accompanying me and his name is under un accompanying in my application. Had submitted my complete application with fee on 3rd August 2019 and have also got my biometrics request which has been completed too. Please revert
I think it is good enough if you have provided the details in LoE and help desk person guided you right. Don't be afraid. Even if Cic would need anything else, they will ask you for any additional info.
