Thank you for the informative and very useful guidance about a few harmful food items. My request to you to please throw some light on usage of millets substituting rice or wheat as staples. Particularly I am interested to know about a few millets like Kodo, Little, Foxtail, Barnyard and Brown Top millets. Kindly let me know if there is any harm in consuming those millets in sequence at least two times in a day in place of rice or wheat.
Rice and wheat flour consumption are not harmful nor are millets. So consume the products from these commodities and stay healthy. For non vegetarians, consumption of eggs and white meat is recommended,there is very little chlorestrol in them to be practically of no harm in their consumption.

Thanks a lot Dr. One thing I noticed is that normally the rice which is used for cooking is not being put in water for half an hour or one hour. It is a new knowlege.
@@rameshjain4369 It is not true. In North India brown rice is rarely used, whereas white rice is common. Unless it is used for biryani, geneally rice is not soaked for 30 minutes before cooking. However, it is being washed for 2 - 3 times before cooking. And also brown rice is not easily available in North India, if available also it is costlier.
@@prspillai7737 I am from Haryana. Earlier in Punjab and Haryana rice was cooked on festival occasion or for in Khir preparation. But now rice is being eaten frequently. In our homes white rice is soaked in water for more than half an hour since long. Moreover Biryani was unheated in North states a few yrs back and we still do not eat.
@@rameshjain4369 Ok. There is no universal cooking procedure. It depends on where you live and what you eat. In my childhood I was in Kerala and we used to cook brown rice quite often. That type of brown rice is not available now. Peticides were very meagre. We hardly take it to flour mill for removing the husk. We used mostly conventional method and the taste was mouth-watering. Now the brown rice available there is red colour coated. You can imagine the difference.

Dosage depends on purpose for which you have to use it , in case of constipation , it act as mild laxative , qualitative requirements is Atleast one TSP for normal weight adult , if you want for eye sight improvement , 1/4 TSP should be added to 1 TSP of warm cow ghee , properly mixed and taken with a cup of milk

Doctor sahib bahut achi bat Hai, but I have heard about hing where they grow it comes from Afghanistan and I had heard it grown on the grave yard, and I have seen on RU-vid they takes white parts out from the roots of the plant its so good nothing tests good without it.
