People keep on commenting this on every BA video. Yes, Brad is amazing, but the new staff is good too. I enjoy all of them. We just need to give them a chance, hopefully BA will bring back longer format videos like before so we can get to know the new editors and their unique personalities. So many negative comments in this channel. If you don’t like it, why are you clicking?
@@fofinoodle feeling a lil bit judgmental are we? Pushing 30 dollar plantain chips as white folk is sketchy. Yogurt dip w/ no citrus, olive oil, and herbs sounds bland.
@@kailafagan $30?? They sell tostones at dollar tree by me. I just looked up that specific brand and even then its less than $6 so i have no idea what you’re talking about lol. I agree that the yogurt dip is simplistic, but I think that’s its appeal.
@@paulpilanger856 They pretty much all quit after it was exposed that BA was not paying their staff equally and equitably, it turns out that the staffers that were BIPOC were earning nothing or not nearly as much as other creators, so some of the staff quit in solidarity and they've also moved on to their own projects.
@@JigglyPuffsthebomb the dish is literally called "ensaladang talong" so it's surprising to see it used as a dip. Whatever fits on a chip that works, I guess
OMG! Devonn's dip is like a trip to Costa Rica. Palms of heart are A STAPLE here, yuca cheaps are immensely popular, and I love the fact he added two types ot cheese. Im definitelly trying that one out. PS Kendra's recipe as well has a caribbean flair: patacones (called tostones in other countries) are THE BEST chip.
THANK YOU Melissa for always being such a great representative for Filipinos on the BA channel. Seeing you share our flavors and cuisines to the world is so cool and inspiring
Kendra's is the most affordable. Another cost-friendly dip is tzatziki, which is a Greek dip. All you really need is yogurt, cucumber, and garlic. It is addictive and pairs well with bread, chips, or any kind of meat.
Zaynab is another one of my faves. Zaynab is a baddie. They always make something that’s relatable and looks good. I also love Zaynab’s voice sksk so soothing
I really miss the longer form videos with a single person going deep into a recipe. It seems that all videos with Bon Appetit have to include all people for 2 minute quick takes. Bring the old formats back please!
I always loved how someone came by and chatted about the dish and showed support. But I guess they wanted a break after the old team and also couldn't bring ppl. together for longer because of COVID.
I like his attitude a lot as well. I'm personally frustrated by the use of the word "moment" and he says it a lot, but he isn't even the only one and I know it's mostly a "me" problem.
more melissa and devonn please. seeing knorr in melissa's salsa takes me back to cooking with my lola in the philippines. she has such cool tita energy. i love it
I love seeing people eat hearts of palm or as we call it down south “swamp cabbage” grew up around a pot of swamp cabbage never new they made it in a can
