I booked Skoda Kushaq Montecarlo 1.0 red on 10/02/2023. Like the RU-vid said, all the teething issues have been resolved. Kushaq now is the only car in its segment to achieve the global Ncap with 5 star rating, which means it is the safest car in its segment. The build quality, the paint finesse, the quality suspension, the premium feel, the road stability, fun to drive experience is beyond compare to any of the other same car segment. I only wish that it had a wider back seat for 3 adult passengers to accommodate comfortably. That's one negative to overlook for rest of the superclass attributes. "German Engineering" after all. The robust engines last so very long that they never grunt inspite of driving over 5 lakh kms.

I am planning to buy Kushaq 1.0 Manual in 1st week of Janyary. Is it worth buying now ? Are all 5 earlier problems solved ? What is the mileage ( both in City & Highway) ?

1. Rattling noise - Yes, but fixed by SC, Jan 2022 manufactured . 2. AC trip issues - trips 10-15% of the time, doesn't bother much but its there, have not yet gone for AC software update. 3. EPC - Not yet faced 4. Build quality - Better than Hyundais, Kias, Marutis. I think it is comparable with Tatas and Mahindras. 5. Features - adequate but yes push button start and request sensor shud be thr in mid variant/Ambition. But I feel build quality/safety, driving dynamics and handling overcomes the need of these 2-3 features for me. I can live with it. No complaints. It brings a smile when you start driving the Kushaq. 6. Service center - True, cooperative and good.

Bought Kushaq in feb 2023 ( dec 2022 model) no rattling sound , no EPC issue. I do feel AC chilling is better in other car specially after when the car is parked under direct sunlight .

IMPACT exerts force equal to 40 to 50 times more, so any car will have this kind of dent if the bamboo falls from 5th floor that too if it has entangled on one side and hammered like a pivoted lever on other end it is impact + leverage so it was not a surprise Check repeating it on any of the tin can. But one thing is sure. All Vehicles manufactured in 2020 upto 2021-2022 of any company have manufacturing defects.

1 year completed to buy this car and no any issue is facing. Iske jaisa smooth driving koi other car me maine experienced nahi kiya. Ye kuch bhi bol raha hai. This car is very luxurious feeling and premium car. Go for purchase it.

Now a days all manufacturers have a very good excuse and decent way out in terms of "Software Update", may it be 10-15 L car or below 1L bike...Its Ok. You can not see anything in software or electrical things so anything can be hide under this.

You are too good a reviewer - honest to the point - no exaggeration. Honestly the Tag line of " German engineering" is too old - the world has moved on and other countries including India also provide equally good engineered products. If engineering does not address basic issues of EPC, A/c, rattling noise -- then what good is it for ? These are no longer luxury - these are basics. Even though people say Kia or Hyundai are not safe from a NCAP perspective - they sell because they address the human requirements and understand what the customers are looking for. That said i am not saying one should compromise on safety of body structure. Imagine you are stranded with your family in the middle of your journey at odd hours on an expressway - the car does not start and the helpline tells you to leave the car wherever it is -- how stupid is it !!! is the car going to get tested for a crash test on an expressway ???

Hello, It was very informative, thank you for this video. I am planning to buy Skoda Kushaq, do you think these issues are still there with Skoda kushaq 2024? Also i have read some reviews where users are complaining about the braking noise in the VW and Skoda cars with 1.0l engine (Automatic). Are these issues still there?

As a Skoda Kushaq 2022 owner myself with odometer clocking close to 9000 Km, following are my pointwise comments: 1. Rattling noise: Issue stands almost resolved after a short visit to service center where they installed 3m adhesive tape on the door lining and lubricate the latch mechanism. Slight rattling noise is only heard when certain plastic/metal items are placed in the door pockets due to lack of felt lining. Other popular vehicles in this segment have similar or more exaggerated issues where even the dashboard starts creaking or rattling after few thousand Km. 2. AC issues: Manufacturer has publicly acknowledged this issue and assured that the said issue will be fixed on a priority. As correctly noted in the video, the manufacturer has rolled out an update to fix the same. I can't think of any other manufacturer publicly acknowledge any issue much less rectifying the same on such expedited basis. 3. EPC issue: Have not faced this issue so far and have not come across any customer complaining of this issue after July 2022 batch. Other popular vehicles in this segment are plagued with issues ranging from brake failure to clutch issues, from premature disc brake pad replacement to engine replacement even though these vehicles are in production for much longer. 4. Built quality: This is the only Made in India car which has received 5 stars for adult and child protection by GNCP making it the safest car by far. The remark that a large and hefty wooden log falling from a height of approximately 15-20 metres with the force and momentum multiplied by the gravity will not have caused any or much less damage to vehicles belonging to much higher segments is without any tangible proof and cannot be taken at face value. 5. Suggestions regarding push start stop button and door request sensor: Assertion to the effect that other popular vehicles in this segment are providing these features at this price range is incorrect on the face of it as no specific example of any such vehicles has been given. Further, given that the manufacturer has prioritized spending on making a vehicle safer than giving few gimmicky features is to be celebrated rather than criticised. These features are usually reserved for the top trims and Skoda also provides the same in its higher trims. 6. Conclusion: Strongly disagree with the recommendation that the buyers should wait for 3-4 months. No vehicle in this segment is as safe or has the driving dynamics, ride comfort, cabin space or service assurance as this vehicle.

Nicely explained sir, rattling issues are still there, but very minimal and expected also. I am also kushaq owner(recently purchased) But if possible, please make one dedicated video on positves also. Because these issues can be fixed by visiting the service center, and as mentioned they are good. But what we are getting is one of the best drive experience, ride quality, suspension, power delivery and best safety (in 15-20 lakh) segment. These things we are not getting in other brands and these things are very useful for long term experience.

You have closed down a car company. After this video mostly will buy 2026/27 Kushaq if they are still in this country. Only giving cooling glovebox without any features is like giving a Rolex to a hungry person who hasn’t eaten in days.

I am owner of Kushaq. I have completed one year. The one issue I have faced rattling noice which was resolved same day. I never faced other issues. This man is highlighting the issues which was resolved by company. I don't think new buyer will face these issue. Build quality is superub. At this stage it look like funded video.

Build quality of this car is top most above all and it is obvious to cause that level of damage at the bonut because you have parked your car in the construction site.

I had booked Kushaq but cancelled it and booked Slavia, noticed for the money Slavia has more features and better value but I am also sure Slavia will also have such rattling issues and more glitches, I have the latest Honda City as well and that is also plagued with rattling issues, engine noise, insulation issues etc, all cars are having some or the other concerns.

Bhai frined ki car drive kr raha hu its a new car petrol 1.0 turbo and while driving i was facing problem with the second gear (in hills ) when I’m shifting to 2 gear the car is lacking in generating the power its like driving a mid size suv with alto 800 engine! For ratling sound and ac issues not with my car - Manufature Aug 2022.. Push button avilable in my Style..Regarding build quality - recently one post shared by Kushaq owner in skoda kushaq india group with pic of minor dent kushaq backside and major crack of nexon front corner side.. EPC error no comments as still not faced, and the dealer told that it happenes for some Vehicles on or before July 2022.
