Just thought I'd contribute to your late night comment reads by saying I'm a TTRPG designer who seems to work in a pretty similar way to how you do, and I come away so inspired from every Miscast video thinking "I can do that" that I've finally committed to finding myself a studio space to properly work from instead of my flat. I think seeing your studios and how you inhabit them, how you bounce around them in your videos showed me how important that space is to your work, and I've been saying "I want that!" for so long that I finally had to commit. So thanks for the inspiration and documenting/sharing your process, despite working in a different medium I think there are few people whose work has had such an impact on me and made me confident that I can do this too! Hope your camera solution isn't a headache and thanks for doing what you do!

Remember to look to real life, carnivorous plants are not all Venus flytraps. Pitcher plants, sundew, and bladderwort are all bug eaters. Make them human sized, and people could easily be caught in them.

If there’s one thing I’ve found when playing mordheim, it’s that you always need more ladders and bridges! Chopsticks+coffee stirrers make cheap bridges, and it’s good to build bridges onto terrain so they don’t fall off!

Woah that table is amazing, great stuff Trent! If you want to avoid using loads of string, try some florist wire - makes good model cables but can add strength and stability when lashing together twigs. Sleep well big man, dreams won't come true if you don't dream them up first!

This is so inspiring! When I was a wee lad I inherited a WW1 diorama, made in the 80s with old Airfix figures. It's sat in the loft gathering dust for many years. This has inspired me to finally bring it back to life! Thank you!

you are such a motivator for me. I get too stuck wanting to make something perfect, but I now the first try is never going to be perfect anyway and just to keep making cause i can always make it again if i want to try better.

i literally have a project on my desk using this as foam bricks so im glad someone is showing more people this method because its such a cheap and achievable way to create terrain for people on a budget

Love the spawning pool. Beads as eggs is really clever. Kudos to the White Dwarf person who thought of that. EDIT: Also, for those looking to make their own ramshackle terrain out of sticks, remember to bake it in the over for a bit to kill all the life clinging to it. Don't want the wood to rot on the table or in storage. Put it on the lowest setting your oven will go, and give it a 20 minute blast.

I love that you experiment on your videos and show that it doesn't always come out as you expect and that, even then, it can still be a cool thing. Too many creators only show the end product and make it seem as if it came out picture perfect, the first time, as if they never make an error. It makes it easier to keep in mind that it's okay to be adventurous and risk going down the unknown path.

Oh boi. Your videos are really something else. I recently struggle with focusing on anything, like big time, and yet in your case I don't feel the need to do anything else, just to experience new story as a whole. It's dangerously addictive tbh, especially with recent amount of your content :D

So now I am preparing stuff for my own games, inspired by yourself and a few other channels I watch saying "just do it" recently. Im having a blast, but was thinking about what to play with my 6yo daughter. She just wants to collect stuff and thats fine, but tomorrow I am going to introduce the idea of 7TV as a game we can play with all of our collected models... because she doesnt want any of the characters she makes getting hurt.
