I have the same truck but with Lariat trim. It is my everyday driver and I love it. I ordered it first part of December and it came in near the end of May. I did get it to tow a 33 foot 5th wheel and it pulls it beautifully. The wife still won’t drive it because of the size so that’s another pro.

6.7 ft bed? I guess that's fine if you aren't using the truck to haul anything substantial. But a contractor needs an 8ft bed to be able to load up the lumber and close the gate. Sure parking is a bit tricky sometimes, but you learn how to find the spots and the outer ends of the lots. So what if you have to walk a few more feet, just drop off the wifey by the door and park. The added bonus to that is, not a lot of people park out there, so less chances of door dings.

I work from home, but F350 Lariat is my daily driver to the store and dog parks. Just a great ride. Safety is another reason I bought it too. In central Oregon, we tend to have lots of head on collisions, the bigger vehicle wins.

Yup. Couldn’t agree more. I have the F250 Lariat trim level 6.7L with the same size bed. Daily driven. Don’t have a trailer to pull yet, but that was the reason for getting it. Don’t regret it one bit. Love the truck. It feels and drives like a truck which, to me, is a pro not a con. I’ve driven it on long road trips and it’s just a comfortable joy to drive. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

I use my 2015 F350 as a daily driver. 8' bed and terrible turning circle make it sometimes difficult to park in regular spots, but love the power and towing.

Thanks for heads up especially the towing. I am looking now. Love the RAM cummins had a 2016 3500 megacab Limited dually with the aisin trans and was solid rig, but the FORDS do look appealing, but overall towing has gone well for you so far? Stay Strong!!

I used to daily a 99 crew cab 8' box 7.3. It was cool and roomy. My kids are now grown. I now have a 150 but I honestly prefer to daily drive my beater 98 Dakota extended cab 2wd. It's comfy, full frame, and I don't worry about it🙂 99% of the time it's just me in the truck these days.

I have a 2022 F350 Lariat. Looks similar to yours except for the color. It's also a diesel with FX4 package and is pretty well loaded. I had originally ordered an F250 but changed my mind and got the F350 instead. I picked it up from the dealer in Jan and paid the X-plan price. The dealership sold the F250 that I had ordered in 30 minutes. They said they could have done the same with my F350. So far I love it. It's not my daily driver.....that's a 2002 Ford Ranger. I'm just trying not to put too many miles on the new truck. The big diesel actually gets better mileage than the Ranger.

I purchased a 22 F-350 XLT crew cab long bed Fx4 6.7 I love it and daily drive with it, about 80% of the time I have my trailer hooked up. I’m a contractor so basically trailer is shop on wheels for me.

The difference between driving these trucks with and without a load is huge. They drive so much better with a load, either in or behind them. Heck, even in my 1500, I typically have some sort of load in my bead, and when I don't have one for a specific job, I'll usually throw some lumber in the bed. It doesn't effect MPG's all that much either, and the payoff is the ride/handling improvement.

I don't daily drive my 21 F350 Limited because I commute 60 miles each way, but I usually will reserve Fridays for that and weekends. I do that mostly to keep the miles off of it, so I have a Mach E for the commute.......and that makes the Diesel bill so much easier to manage. Nice truck!! Love your wheels too. I went from a Raptor to the 1 ton

So currently I have a 2017 Lincoln Navigator L Reserve.... I have never owned a diesel in my life and I'm going to be buying a used 2021 or 2022 F-350 limited with the 6.7 L diesel and I was wondering coming from gas my entire life am I going to be in a rude awakening for the amount of upkeep and how bad is the expense going to be and to top it off it will not be my daily driver it's more of a weekend truck...... I only drive it roughly 5,000 miles a year but I wanted to get it because I am a 20-year Master Plumber I own my own plumbing company and I have a 14000 lb trailer that can be used for construction equipment...... but to sum it up am I going to be in a world of shit with the upkeep and the expense I already know diesel is expensive what's your thoughts thanks

I am blessed to have 2019 F250 6.7 Platinum, it now has 70,000 miles. It has the Camper Special package, 1 ton diff and overload spring. I added Firestone air bags and pull a 35 foot 5th wheel. Don’t even feel it back there and I live in the southwest. Amazing truck. I feel that the door GVWR sticker should reflect the added capacity of the option. Just sayin’.

Had one and sold it to pay hospital bills that Covid left me with. As a ventilator survivor, I will get another some day soon. It was my daily and wouldn’t trade it for any other vehicle. 16 months later, still can’t work from the carnage the virus left my body with. For my lifestyle having a 3/4 ton truck is an absolute necessity. The fact that it’s a diesel is also very important so I can haul what I need to. I just built my own shop myself and I know for a fact it would not have been possible without my truck. You never know when you have to move a piece of equipment or pull out something heavy and a big truck just makes it happen. I know my next truck will also be a 3/4 ton 100 percent. For some not required but I couldn’t live without it and looks like same for you.

In am considering this truck in a lariat as a daily driver.i tow a 16 foot utility trailer with some side x sides…nothing crazy. I love the diesel but i get nervous with some of the stories with fuel pump, emission issues and some others. I’m can’t fix it myself so I do get nervous at 85K. What are some of everyone’s thoughts?? I have a tundra which is very reliable

If you want to have a better ride you should try Sulastic shackles . I put them on my F250 and it is night and day difference in ride comfort.

I have a 21 F350 Limited, I drive it everyday and across the country. It's a very comfortable long distance driver. I just wish I had a shop I could go to for mods in Central California. THey don't know trucks here.

I daily drive my 2020 F250 Lariat and have 60k miles with 24 months of ownership. So far it has been rock solid and I agree with your pros and cons. There is more on the maintenance side and I follow ARod’s advice as well, good dude. I just really enjoy the size, safety and power/capabilities of this beast. I do miss my massaging seats from 2017 F150 Platinum but that is all I miss about it and the 3.5 Ecoboost with its cam phaser issues. Good video and keep up the good work.

@@regiprothro4766 yes I do have the 6.7 PS and I get about 18-19 MPG combined with most of it highway driving. I would say about 85% HWY and 15% city. I use a fuel additive on every fill-up.

Nice info but you should mention on super duty pick ups with a Diesel engine is make sure your dealership has a certified mechanic or a small shop that does diesels to work on in your area . Not all new dealerships have that service . Here in Canada 🇨🇦 only diesel mechanics can touch them and not gasoline engine mechanics. I’m sure the rules apply in the states also.Correct me if I’m wrong on that.

Mine is not a diesel 7.3 gas its my daily. I live in the country so parking is not much of a issue. It drinks a lush. But I knew that going in just didn't expect to pay so much for a gallon doesn't stop me from using it. It tows great and that's why I got it.

7.3 may use little more gas, but isn't diesel $1 more per gallon? And with no Def fluid and fuel filter change, you may make all that back and more. :)

I got a ‘22 7.3 with 4.30 gears. Tows my 34’ fifth wheel decently but at 6mpg. I’m already considering trading it and ordering a 6.7. A. Much better fuel mileage B. Being able to use the diesel truck lanes for fueling Maneuvering through tiny gas stations is such a pain in the butt

6.7s built completely by ford no Navistar involvement as 7 3, 6 0, 6 4, where. After the 1 fuel rail inured to bogle was fixed there a strong bullet proof model. Especially the coolant line run to the turbo !

The biggest con by far has yet to rear its ugly head(with the diesel) long term emmission maintenaince, injectors and turbos. Big $$$ replacements after the warranty is out

I absolutely would drive it every day. I had a 2002 ford F-350 crew cab long bed for 19 years and i drove it every day. Until February 18 2021 when some one stole it right out of my driveway. It only had 160000 k on it.So on January 17 2022 I ordered a new 22 ford f-350 platinum and I'm still waiting ? 8 1/2 months so far.

I traded a 2019 super duty 6 2 in for a2022 ranger tremor time al paper work was done I got a check for $ 5,100 and the ranger was paid for no money down the dealer gave me 52,000$ for my super duty never expected that much for a used truck

99k truck needs Upgrades now ... Lose the Fuel wheels , everyone & their sister has them ,karli suspension, MORIMOTO HEADLIGHTS are 10x brighter and don't turn pinkish like the oems'. THAT DIESEL NEEDS Tunes ,cai and BORLA EXHAUST. AND STOP LYING ABOUT THE STIFF LOSE UR TEETH RIDE .

Cant wait to hear all the cry baby's using these diesels as commuter cars . These diesel trucks needs to pull heavy to maintain there emission crap. IF its not used for towing heavy good luck and see you on the forums crying how much money you have to spend on the repairs and cant afford the repair bill plus the monthly payment . I own my 19 6.7 paid cash no payments. Did not buy it for other than to tow 15k, I am waiting for that inevitable non warranted part to grenade on me and cost me some more cash, since warranty wont cover it. This is why all the diesel fan boys are now getting converted to that 7.3 gas engine and making videos on how great the 7.3 tows their laughable 10k trailer up 6% grades with no problems🤣🤣🤣🙄

@@HammerdownMotorsportsUSA Not in your neck of the woods maybe, but in mine I ask the service advisors and all chimed in the same thing. Alterations will void the factory and extended warranty. Does not matter if its a part that will prevent a disaster to the fuel system. Not a Factory part so you still flip the bill to put it back to stock. Then you gotta pay again to put another aftermarket part back in like you had it. Now maybe afterward the warranty is out, then buy all means S&S is a no brainer!🤙They got us coming and going😡

@@robertbarcus1963 Yeah when a RU-vidr Ford tech has it and still has his warranty I feel safe getting one service writers are almost as big of losers as the salesman in most cases not all but knowledge isn't their strong suit or the law with warranty, failure has to be the direct cause of the aftermarket part plus I would way rather pay for a 1200$ cp4 than have all my injectors and lines and fuel tank have to be replaced just my opinion.
